Tour of barn conversion to she-shed, with french country flair, vintage decor and office/studio design. This she shed has great ideas, decor and uses antique flea market finds. Modern Day Farm Girl.
I love the desk painted white. Just be encouraged by the fact that it's YOUR desk, your she shed, and your vision of what it means to YOU. No one should feel bad that you painted the desk. It has served its purpose being brown...now it's purpose is to be the shining star in a new decorative style. She is the same desk...she just got a face-lift. Everything fits together so well and is such a peaceful place for you to work and create. Another nice feature is that it can also be a guest house. How thoughtful!
Move over....I’m moving in. Or, maybe I can just wait until the guest room in the loft is completed. I love every square inch, inside and out. I do love your painted furniture. ❤️🥰👍
The shed is super cute! The red and blue salvia that you are having a hard time with are drought tolerant full sun plants. Since you have them planted under a tree they are possibly not getting enough sun. Maybe a spot for more shade loving plants like hostas or ferns.
Thank you for the help with my salvia plants! That makes complete sense since the others are thriving in full sun. I was wondering if I was over watering, lol
Just beautiful. I am going to purchase or build a she shed in the near future. I am trying to decide on a size and I love the space in yours. What are the dimensions of yours?
Thank you! Mine is 16’x20’ downstairs then I also have a loft in the barn which is another 300 square feet. That’s the beauty of a barn, many have a second floor😃
For antique hunting you might want to check out Micanopy FL. and Turkey point auctions in Macintosh, Fl. It's been awhile since I was there but both of those places were charming and had tons of antiques. I loved Micanopy. The desk is very pretty in white.
I am new to your channel. What a BEAUTIFUL she shed you have. I also love ❤ the outside with all the flowers. Thank you for sharing this with us.So until next time God Bless you and your family and have a Blessed day and stay safe my dear friend 😊.
Thank you so much! I have a wall unit AC that I purchased off of Amazon to keep it cool, and since I live in Southern Florida I just use a small portable heater if it gets too cold.
That was such a good find for me, I found it in a consignment shop and spent around $75, which was more than I wanted to, but it looks like it is worth at least $500, so well worth it:). Thank you so much for your comment!
It is Super Pretty!!! Love what you did to the walkway. Two questions fo you, where did you find your sleeper couch? Is your shed air conditioned? Love your space ❤️❤️❤️. TFS
Thank you so much!! I found my sleeper couch at City Furniture and my wall air conditioner on Amazon. Both have been great! My sleeper has already accommodated several family members when they have visited, and they all have said how comfortable it is. It has the foam mattress and is really thick. My wall AC was about $250 and worth every penny! I keep it on 72 degrees, and live in South Florida. So it keeps the whole space cool for me, even during our hottest days here. My AC bill has maybe gone up $1-2 a month, it really costs nothing for the $250 investment:)
Beautiful! My new house came with a she shed but my son stole it. He sperated from the Air Force and is going to College. One day I will turn it into my dream space.
Thank you! So excited for you, and you will definitely have to steal that space back as soon as you can:). Send me pics when you get a chance to take it back over, lol!
I absolutely love your she shed! So happy I stumbled upon your video and subscribed. I am currently waiting (patiently, NOT)for my shed to arrive. Due to lumber issues and other pandemic related delays they are taking longer. So I am dreaming of the many ways I can decorate and put the space to work for me. Lots of plans for crafting, painting, and hopefully relaxing a bit. Thanks so much for the inspiration, it's beautiful.
Thank you! I also do a lot of crafting, painting, relaxing and working! It is such a great space to have separated from the house and where you can do your own thing! But get ready, because everyone loves to visit:). Good luck with your she-shed and please share pics! Would love to see them!
I absolutely love your She Shed. The tea cups and furnishings are lovely. I also really like the incorporation of the vintage windows. Such a beautiful space. Thanks for the inspiration. I wish you many hours of enjoyment in your new space.
I love what you did to the she shed…you can see your husband worked very hard….I signed up today and search you channel….I’m assuming you no longer do this channel too bad I was searching to see how you finished the upstairs she shed…I hope all is well you are in my prayers….God bless 💗💗💗🙏🙏🙏
I am so glad I watched your channel. I found you by accident and now I know exactly what I'm going to do with the doors to my old barn that I turned into a two car garage. I love the doors before the remodel and after of course but before it's more my style. The rest of the video was overwhelmingly classy
I have to say, I absolutely love having French doors for my entry! So much great light comes in and they really transformed the whole look of the barn!! Thank you so much for your comments 😊
@@lanettejantellepottery5025 I love French doors. I wish I had that option, but it's a garage. Oh well I learned a lot from your video though keep posting
