Fellow Lore serker here. Since the anti hero song I was wondering what "greater good" is Plankton trying make with all of this? Plan z is the beginning of his final vendetta and the Neon tide is the robot army to patrol and control the chum bucket helmet citizens. But who or what is he trying to protect?

I think Plankton's original goal was to create something out of this world with his restaurant to finally do better than and surpass Mr. Krabs, but once he got the taste of power in controlling his customers from the first movie, he went over board and created a whole army to control anyone who tried to stop his restaurant from flourishing But then the robotics would get so advanced that one of his machines would gain enough power hungry sentience and take over/possess/kill Plankton and take possession of the one trait that even Plankton underestimated that the machine saw was more valuable than Plankton's brain, and that's his big voice out of his tiny being, thus the machine would use the power of its master's voice to command and influence the rest of the army to destroy and oppress what's left of Bikini Bottom Plankton had a fear of being a nobody and being perceived as weak and small, but above all else, not succeeding or not being heard of what greatness he can be And in a desperate attempt to keep advancing, he was too blinded to realize until too late that his own creation would eventually become a much bigger enemy and threat to him than even his rival Krabs. That's how I interpreted the lore so far anyway lol

@@freeusemusic-nocopyrightmu8687my lore take is Plankton enacted Plan Z but was thwarted by SpongeBob and his crew aka what happened in the movie. Then plankton enacted the neon tide which worked and took over bikini bottom. Sandy the leader of the resistance was leading an all out assault to stop planktons takeover of bikini bottom but it appears that the resistance force was defeated and all began to fall under planktons control. But slowly he realized the eon tide was out of control gaining their own sentience and rebelling against plankton becoming even more horrific then they once were. That’s where the battling my demons song comes into play as plankton joins the remaining resistance forces and makes his way up to his command center where he fights Karen (the embodiment of his demons) he fights and wins but is gravely injured in the process shutting down the neon tide. However he can’t hold on much longer which queues the last song Funeral of an antihero.

Battling My Demons isn't part of the story. BOI WHAT said so himself in an interview/podcast thingy where that song was just for fun and not involved in his on-going narrative.

The genre is called Electronicore, its personally my favorite. You should check some bands out if you like it. Some of my favorites are I See Stars Tree House and New Demons albums and finally my favorite band Starset's new song "Brave New World" is Electronicore, they usually were just electronic rock/alt metal.
