I grew up in rural Midwest n my mom went to 4H home economist mtgs on oh so many things as a child. I was excited what she learned So Thank you for being a modern Home economist. And all ur materials are science based. You are such a joy n ur so excited about sharing all this information! Love it
I have both a water canner and a pressure canner but I have not been brave enough to use either one of them. Your explanation has helped me a lot. Thank you.
I never knew you could double stack during boil water canning (as long as all jars are covered by 1 inch minimum boiling water). Wonderful to also know about the extra support for your electric stove. I appreciate your teaching 😊
I have a Ball Easy Canner (the newest version of the Freshtech) and I absolutely LOVE it! Last year I canned a lot of jams and jellies in it. This year, I used it to make roasted corn stock to can in my pressure canner. It was nice to be able to make a stock without taking up a burner on my stove.
Thank you, great explantions on the canner racks for waterbath canners and two tiered waterbath canning. You answered a couple of questions on this video.
I love my little blue pot! It was something in a catalog from Marlboro that you saved coupons for. When Bryan was in the Navy a bunch if the sailors on his ship who smoked would give him their coupons because they didn't care anything about it. The pot was one of several cool things I got.
