Hello from Aus. The boiler code only allows copper tube to be expanded. Steel tubes can be expanded or welded to the tube plate. Brazing would have a big heat input and corrosion problems.

The roller expander I bought from India. The basic flaring was done with a lathe dead center. Then radius flaring tool and capping tool, both of which I made. There is a video of those tools. BC
