@@thomy1955 as far as i know, Lewis and Taylor arent as good Friends as they used to be anymore, becuz there was something between this two few years ago aswell, dont know exactly what anymore but im pretty sure it was on Lewis Site again. He changed so much after his one Time WC win, he lost all of his sympathies.
Adrian Lewis doesn't have a problem getting along with other players. Except for Peter Manley in 2006, Kevin Painter in 2008, Gary Anderson in 2009, Jose Justicia in 2018 and Peter Wright in 2021. Kind of surprising that PDC hasn't banned him for good.
He’s probably not “innocent” but I think Adrian is more affected by things like this where as someone like Jonny Clayton for example would probably let it go, not mention anything and instead focus on his darts
@@TimmyTheSnail That's why Johny is one of the best right now and Adrian barely go to Last 16 and i still put Adrian in my top-5 of all time for what he has done but now he is just a good player not a player to win a Major Tournament...
Yep got to admit what the hell is wrong with the guy where did it all go wrong but it can be fixed just need somebody to help him with the way he thinks what a shame what a damn shame
Lewis looked unimpressed when security guy blocked his arm and started walking him off stage “me? What have I done?” Lol ..have a doughnut mate you’ll feel better
Once again, heated words after Lewis is beaten. IMO he does have history of gamesmanship....see v MVG in the England v Holland game few years back. 180, leaves darts in the board and saunters off to celebrate to the crowd while MVG waiting to throw. MVG does celebrate a lot but he's never made someone wait to throw their darts. The amount of 'darts incidents' videos Lewis is involved in on RU-vid says it all
Didn’t like Sankebite at first but the more videos I watch I really like his style and how he gets the crowd going. Adrian Lewis is an embarrassment for the sport. He spits his dummy out and the pettiest of things.
naaaaaa, every top player began slim and got the top level as fat...wright as well...mvg...and what you think about clayton belly...i'm trying to reach that level, but only my stomach improved...
What you on about bellend Wright was being a complete helmet in this match . He threw 2 treble 19’s and wanted double 16 but went over to have a drink of water . Get on with your darts you jock helmet 🥸
I've seen MVG and VvdV once answer the question on Dutch TV: 'who is the most annoying darts player to play against". They both took less then a second to say in unison: Adrian Lewis...
He only argues because he no longer wins. He went from world champ and world number 1 to a lowly ranked easy to beat darts player. No one has much time or respect for him anymore.
Perhaps Wright sent him a condolence card (I'm sorry for your loss) by mistake instead of a Christmas card and that's why Lewis reacted in this way. It needs Bruce Forsyth to sort this one out, "To play your cards wright" 😅👍
Lewis claimed Peter was putting him off. Lewis is a two time World Champion, he should not be bothered by what the other player is doing and just play the board.
Remember when Lewis complained about a draft on stage when playing against Wade. Wade was way in front but after a long break in the game to sort it out Lewis went on to win it, did Wade complain, nope. Lewis stole that final from Wade. Lewis threatened another player also, (which is laughable), he does nothing but complain and annoy other players when he doesn't get his own way.
Yes Wade was too soft on that occasion, I remember screaming at the telly saying “stick your foot on his neck” lol. He should have been ruthless and finished him off
@@SpeccyMan I used the American English term, even though I know the British spelling is "draught". Thanks for commenting on something that isn't really related to my post though. Maybe this is what you do, troll peoples posts because you have nothing better to do, a bit bored maybe?
It was the semi finals but you’re right he knew exactly what he was doing basically cheating to put Wade of his stride Wade was leading 5.1 and went on to lose 5.6 , Lewis went on to beat Hamilton in the final his last world title everyone was saying Lewis would go on and win 6 or 7 world titles but went of the boil good riddance to Adrian Lewis the most unsportsmanlike man child ever.
Lewis may have been good for darts a long time ago not sure if he is good for darts now though ,That was a load of crap by Lewis at the end of the match
I love Lewis but this isn't the first floorboard incident with him. He had an issue with Wade about 10 years ago over a similar matter. I think the issue with Lewis is that he's a Taylor protege (and Bristow taught Taylor) that loves the psychological aspects of darts and getting into the other player's head. Lewis is hyper focused on messing with the other player (rather than just playing the board) so even when other players are unintentionally doing something, I'm sure he assumes it's purposeful.
@@renehache The stage that players stand on is usually a temporary setup. Kind of like if you build a temporary platform, it's not going to be perfect. It will have squeaky joints or loose boards that might not be noticeable for the average person but if you're doing a precision activity like darts, you notice every little bit of sound and movement. Imagine your friend is shooting a rifle while seated with his arms braced on on a table. If you tap on the table or find a spot that makes the table move/squeak, it will mess up the rifle shot. But if you're not shooting a rifle, you would never notice the movement. For darts it's all mental so if an opponent can find a spot on the floor that makes it vibrate/squeak when the other player is throwing, some will use that advantage.
Oh my, Its Mr Lewis once again. Ive lost count of how many times Ade, has taken offence, or turned up to a match, looking for a fight. Is it any wonder, he has fallen heavily down the rankings table. He is a multiple World Champion, an incredible talent at the Oche, yet he is sliding down the World rankings, whilst his contemporaries, are still winning titles. A player of his ability, should be doing his talking through his darts, not his mouth.
Lewis doesn’t look well. Thought early in the clip I’ve never seen him looking so shapeless and disheveled. The rant may just be him boiling over stemming from hurt inside. Hope he’s ok. Wright can take it, good on him closing it out well.
There are the great legends of darts; there are the up-and-coming stars of darts. There are the small boys and girls who aspire to be like their famous darting heroes... then there is Adrian Lewis. Shame.
Replace the setting with a local pub on a Wednesday night right after the football has finished on the TV by the pool table and put those two there....
we will forget him soon their are others that do what he did but better and more entertaining now Lewis can be quiet and drink his life away like he always wanted
I genuinely like Lewis, he is an excellent darts player I want to see doing well, but his penchant towards violence or bully like intimidating behaviour is an all too common thing. That time he pushed around Jose Justicia, I thought he'd turned over a new leaf after that. Clearly I was wrong
@Worldwide Wanderer ya Jose was clicking his darts and rolling them in his hands. Aido should have asked the ref to advise Jose to stop what he was doing. But again he took the wrong choice. Again as I say I'm a huge Lewis fan, one of the most naturally gifted throwers of a dart but he needs to work on his temper. With the big size he is, he needs to manage his temper as it gets out of control too easily. I hope to see him back to his best in the worlds
He is a big head who got found out in darts. He isn't as good as he thinks. He got too big headed when he was winning things and saying he was the best in the world
Lewis does this whining to try and get in the opponent's head. Thinks it will give him an advantage next time. Utter nonsense. Peter Wright beat him fair and square.
Lewis has form for this, I didn't see him turn around once and if I'm honest I don't think Peter Wright did anything wrong, he hit his double and won the game, he turned around to offer his handshake and Lewis goes of on one, very bad sportsmanship on Lewis part.. yea big baby Lewis, except it your not the man you once we're dropped in the rankings, more traveling and it's start to show with your actions and the way you carry yourself and I judge a man on character and I think your a sore looser
There was a creaky floorboard on the stage. Lewis accused wright of deliberately walking around on it whilst Lewis was throwing, in order to put him off.
Not going to lie as an outsider with no context on this, I did not expect the dude with the purple Mohawk and crazy pants not to be the aggressor in this 🤣
