Boker plus MA-2 

I have one and I carry it every day. I absolutely LOVE it! Not too sharp out of the box, but I put my own custom stank on it and now it cuts really well. I never had been a big fan of the chisel grind blades, but that blade shape has come in quite handy several times. Definitely not your conventional cutter, but it has my respect as a defensive weapon. Good to see someone else likes it, too.

I love this knife i'm a mexican Scout and this knife is my favorito to go camping, Is a hell triying to get this knife sharp, but is the best! Nice video!!! ;D

thanks for showing the blade in its sheath, i was wondering how it looked and yet again Boker does it again making a kick ass knife and sheath. great review. buying one ASAP

@gavkoo some information for you, the chisel grind knife was created to be used for the orental cheff because the flat part of the knife was used to make an straight cut on the food, and it was very easy to sharpen it (because of the chisel grind) i dont like it but still I dont dislike it, but some companies start making this type of knife because it is no necesary an angle to sharpen it, and it is true i dont like chisel grind, but the ones I have are really easy to get them very sharp

I think there is a s30v-titanium version of this knife, made from the designer, but much more expensive. Cool review Gav.

miltner adams knew was he was doing when he designed this knife. Perfect for any law enforcement of military officer.

One of my favorite knives. I love the design, and you're right, I wouldn't want to get hit with a fistful of MA-2. I want to get the bigger MA-4, but I'm not a big fan of the chisel grind. You should make come GAVKO customs with a better steel, I'd definitely buy one if you decide to make any.

you can get em in 154cm and titanium with the same sheath in g10 also from miltner adams, and it looks pretty cool

yeah, exactly - you turned it round to turn it into a scary thing - my first thought when I saw this shape ...

I have the other similar one from Boker, with the small anodized aluminum handles (can't remember what it's called ?), the only thing I dislike is the chisel grind on it, but theres not enough steel there to re-profile it...The MA-2 looks like You might be able to put a ifferent grind on it, what do You think ?. Ignore the trolls and haters; I have learned so much from Your videos, and think You do amazing work !!!.

ive got this same knife and i carry it just left of my belt buckle horizontally so i can reach across and pull it out right hand like noraml but i can also grab it in tht reverse grip, thought i can get it on i cant get it off one handed like u can,lol

you can also hold it as a push dagger.

hi there man, I really love this knife design, I think that this and the wonderful CRKT Minimalist are the best and usefull neck knife designs ever! the only thing about this one is that a lot of people says it is almost dull, is it right?

@fraudioc yeah its dull and grind is bad.

Emerson and Victorinox knives have chisel grinds... But yeah, chisel grind is crap for regular cutting tasks, and annoying to sharpen.
