Bol-anon Artists Series - Dimiao Children's Rondalla 

So happy to see rondalla is alive and well in Bohol. Rondalla was my introduction to music growing up in Kawit, Cavite. I was nine years old and the octavina was my very first instrument. As a child, rondalla is a wonderful introduction to the joy of music, the feel of an instrument, ensemble playing, not to mention keeping the Filipino music tradition alive.
Dimiao is a coastal town whose welcome signage is "The Town of Music, Beauty & Glee". The Dimiao Children's Rondalla playing the popular Boholano tune Ang Bol-anon under the direction and baton of Zosima Acuram. Music by Regino Dano.
