I do my makeup in the same exact routine as you. Eyes, face, back to eyes with liner and mascara, then lips. I think it was ingrained into my head in your earlier videos and worked great for me then and I haven't changed after all these years!

I lost my grandfather in July and it totally struck a chord when you said he was the most judgmental person you've ever known, and you weren't close but that was your mom's dad. That is to a T, my grandfather. Of course mine wasn't an artist but I definitely know what you're feeling. My grandpa loved to brag about me, and I ended up singing at his funeral. When my grandmother passed away 10 years ago I cried for my mother. I didn't know my grandmother real well because she lived on the opposite side of the country but she was kind and lovely and my mom would miss her. So I understand how you feel sad for him.

what a beautiful expression of art. i love how you had an inspiration and could map out how you got to your destination. by the second shade of blue you used, i would have called it a mess up and started over. i will have to have more faith in my vision next time. thanks for taking the time to give such a thorough tutorial.

So sorry to hear about your Grandpa. Mine passed my sophomore year in high school. But you are always so fun and a joy to watch, and I constantly learn new things. I normally bypass 20 minute videos but its you and we don't often get to see a full face so it was nice. :) I LOVE the lips, I've been doing that a lot lately. So much fun and different!
