My family reunion is by cabins near by the castle. If you look out from the dock u can see it! About to go there and this just makes me so much happier!
The castle was made by the man, I think he owned hotels not sure haven’t seen the tour video in a while. He built it for his wife. She died before she could see it. He abandoned it after her death and it was rebuilt to what it should of been. There are photos in the room of what it was before they fixed it up because oh the graffiti. It’s very beautiful now
I've been to the 1000 Islands 2x in the past few years and find the area absolutely beautiful. Your video was well shot. I too do videos, but am not a drone specialist so the aerials of Boldt Castle and surrounding islands provided a perspective I had not seen before. Where were you working from, given that the battery has a limited life? As a videographer the only comment I would add was that I would have included background music throughout the entire video. But, I made sure to add my "thumbs up" to this one.
