This is Bollywood in its most truest form. The classic indian family film. The nostalgia is so damn strong with this one. Man, those wonderful wonderful childhood days when this movie came out.
K3G is the movie we all watch for the nostalgia feel. It's the big starcast movie which has big b, srk and hrithik But the biggest highlight of the movie is Kajol's acting which you will understand if you watch the movie. You recognised only kareena may be because she is the youngest in the video and you know more about he. But among all the finest actors are Jaya bacchan and Kajol. You will understand range of their acting if you watch their other movies. Yes, even Rani is there in the movie. She has done a small role. You can see her in the song shava shava.

Whenever you keep mentioning this movie, you forget to mention one name.. A name that is more a "legend" ( a word you like to use quite often) than Amithabh Bachchan, SRK, Hrithik, Kajol, Kareena et al.. And that is Jaya Bachchan, wife of Amithabh. She had given up a glorious career to take a back seat and care for her family after marriage. She was a bigger star than Mr. Bachchan when they got married. In fact when the movie K3G was announced, She agreeing to do the movie was considered more the coup than getting all of those others to work together. If you watch the movie, you will see how she turned a movie on a father - son relationship into a movie on a mother - son relationship. She had an amazing run at the box office in her time and was the darling of the masses and the harshest critics alike. And by the way Rick, she is a Bengali.
I would love if they watch this film, but I also really don't want them to watch it, because I know Korbin will not like it and then I will not like him ❤😛
I think after watching so many films, Korbin might actually like it. Bcos of the overall theme and because of the powerful star cast on screen together. And the songs ofc.

I danced to this song during International day in 2005. A short girl with glasses took her first step onto stage. It lives in my heart forever and always ~~ Also K3G is a very family-oriented movie, great to watch with kids. Not the best from a critic's POV, but it can still make me cry every time I watch it, so they've done something right!
It’s is a awesome movie. If you are Indian you would understand that this is culture and so true to some of us. I like the fact that Jaya as the mother felt something when her two sons hug and the emotions when she ran down the stairs as if she was hoping to see them, this movie I can watch non stop. When my friends from other cultures watch it they were amazed. This is a classic and never grow old.
Is there any 90s baby, especially girls, who hasn't sung or danced to this song? I remember when I was in elementary school and we had a talent show that spanned 4 days. There were about 600 kids in our school. We were allowed to sing, dance and perform skits of our own choice. I'm not kidding but this song was performed 18 times. People sang it, danced to it, did duets and what not. By the end of the talent show, the teachers had enough. Lol. The next year, our teachers would only allow kids to perform one song 3 times at most. Memories . Every single song of this movie was a huge hit and is remembered to this day. This movie is very "Indian" but was responsible for bringing in a lot of foreign viewers to Bollywood back in the day. SRK owes his super stardom to this film. Not saying he wouldn't be a star otherwise but k3g was definitely the crowning jewel of his career at the time.

if you've watched the movie, u will understand why this event dance was sad for Hrithik. his brother doesn't recognize him as he left at the time when he was still in highschool. Big B coming in the picture was just his imagination as his father could not accept his older brother eloping with another woman instead of the one he had betrothed him to. The woman at the last part of the video was their mother, suddenly getting that feeling that her SRK is coming home after leaving them for so long. their house always had parties especially when SRK comes home from boarding school when he was young but when he left, no party has ever been held. even when their second son also went to boarding school and comes home every year.

They were brothers in the movie and amitabh played their father. The family has separated and hrithik is there to reunite all. He imagined Amitabh being there and all of them spending time together. In this song srk does not know Hrithik is his younger brother. Also, in the movie they have depicted that their mother could sense their presence. Hence, when after years the brothers hugged after years the mother could sense it.
