Bolivia’s presidential palace stormed by soldiers in attempted coup 

Soldiers have stormed Bolivia’s presidential palace in what appears to be an attempted coup d’etat.
President Luis Arce, alongside other Latin American leaders, denounced the moves as an attack on democracy.
Mr Arce confronted the general commander of the army, Juan Jose Zuniga, who appeared to be leading the rebellion.
“I am your captain, and I order you to withdraw your soldiers, and I will not allow this insubordination,” he said.
