The term Woke culture has been used by people to mean things that it doesn't actually mean. It is an African American term "originally meaning alertness to racial prejudice and discrimination. Beginning in the 2010s, it came to be used as slang for a broader awareness of social inequalities such as racial injustice, sexism, and denial of LGBT rights" It basically means to be awake to social narratives and structures used to oppress people. That includes being awakened to the ills of capitalism and basically anything else that has been normalized, but people need to realize that it is all bullshit. It is about self worth, recognizing your own value, and not blindly buying whatever people tell you. In fact, spirituality is actually deeply aligned with left-politics which truly is about valuing all humans irrespective of race, caste, creed, gender, sexual orientation, etc. Let's not vilify something without really understanding what it is.
And "what gender one chooses to identify as" - is the same as identifying with caste, language, nationality, identity. If people can choose an identity that is powerful to them, like the way you tell us to create our own swamurty - why is it a problem if someone chooses an identity and form that is empowering to them? Individualism is different from being woke. Individualism per se isn't wrong. The key liberal principle is that my rights end when your nose begins. So, even as espoused or endorsed by the common folk, it is not about prejudicing someone else.
In fact, it is a challenge to society's ideas of how one must be or what an identity even is. It shocks people because "how dare they shift their identity" - it is unfathomable. But isn't an identity just a dumb egoic construct? Why do we care what color clothes someone wears?

I really can't understand all the contradictions. On the one hand, Guru Pashupati says the devil is in action in the form of gambling, addictions, prostitution, etc. But, on the other hand he says he is ok with women creating "only fans" account to earn a livelihood, or exposing their bodies to sell something.
