Watching Erin have such a good time was FAR better and FAR MORE entertaining than the actual movie. Her appreciation and adoration for Cynthia is amazing. She made this one bearable and the mosquito was hilarious. You guys are friggin' awesome.

Bolo played Bolo in Enter The Dragon, his famous scene was breaking multiple boards and Bruce Lee says "Boards don't hit back." Bolo said "Bricks don't hit back." to Van Damme in Bloodsport when he does a similar stunt, an Easter Egg from his Enter The Dragon scene.

They should put it on the box cover: "What just happened?" - Cynthia Rothrock.

Wow what a cliffhanger. I thought Empire Strikes Back was my fav second movie in a trilogy. Tiger Claws 2 has now taken the top spot.

The funniest part of this episode is when Erin claims she wouldn't hit on Cynthia Rothrock if they were partners.

If Erin was a Mortal Kombat Character her name would be Kick McGiggles.

My Spanish teacher in HS had hair plugs. If you were sitting at your desk 30 feet away they looked a bit wonky, but a vague approximation of actual hair. If you saw him up close it was a gd horror show! The tech was brand new (very late 70s) and not refined. The plugs were huge compared to today. They were these islands of hair separated by a patch of bare skin of at least 1/4 inch from every other island of hair. It was so phony. It looked like a miniature hair orchard where the trees are planted in artificial rows. It was so distracting and really hard not to stare at it. I decided there and then that if I suffered hair loss and baldness later in life I would accept that and not try to artificially compensate. It was grotesque and weirdly fascinating. Trying not to look was extremely difficult and took conscious effort. His scalp was a fucking nightmare.

Nothing surprises me on this show anymore 🤣 It had prepared me for a midlife crisis of watching shyt movies. Much appreciated!

Now I want to see a movie with Cynthia Rothrock beating the brakes off Sifu Seagal for 90 minutes… Absolutely GLORIOUS!

The reason Bolo doesn't have many lines in the western movies he made is because he didn't speak much English. They wrote the character of a silent mystic martial arts master for him in pretty much every film to get around that.

I would have loved a final scene like Army of Darkness, where Bolo Yeung falls out of the portal into the past, sees a castle, then tiger claws a flying demon and becomes their new hero of prophecy. That would be a solid ending to this mess. Poor Cynthia. She deserved better.

Cynthia, Cynthia, Cynthia☺ I just looked it up. Tiger Claws 2 came out at the same year as the episode of Hercules: The Legendary in which she was a co-star in. What made that episode a big deal was that it reunited her with another female martial arts movie legend Karen Sheperd. Karen & Cynthia were basically the big names in American martial arts competitions in the 70s and early 80s. They also were in a few Hong Kong movies where their were opponents of each other. Karen Sheperd had already been in an episode in 1996 of Hercules called "The Enforcer". Karen was brought back for a future 1996 episode called "Not Fade Away" where Cynthia was a new Enforcer and Karen's Enforcer was brought back to help Hercules. You think Cynthia looked good in Tiger Claws 2, Jason and Erin...you need to see her outfit as The Enforcer 2!😊 The big long haired guy. You have actually seen him before. He is in Double Impact. He was one of the bad guys on Bolo's side. You wouldn't recognize him because he spoke with a British accent and he didn't have a lot of screen time in the movie. His name is Evan Lurie. He was very active in a lot of B-martial art movies in the 90s. Tiger Claws 2 wasn't the first movie he was in with Cynthia. Another classic movie you guys have to watch is Martial Law II. He has a much bigger role and does a lot more fighting The moving around that the old master who was locked up in the cell that gave Cynthia a power-up to open the bars. What he was doing was probably a Chi Kung-type movement to generate the Chi and he transferred some of his Chi to Cynthia for them to pull back the bars. Chi Kung is done in a lot of Chinese martial arts. How it looks in practice is a lot like how Tai Chi is done, which is because Chi Kung is a major part of Tai Chi. Yea, the energy bolts coming out of the hands is exaggerated as that doesn't actually happen😀. The small Chinese guy that had on the green uniform, he was in Tiger Claws 1. Remember the guy that got beat up in the parking lot and Tarek and Linda saved and the guy told them where to find the Tiger Claw master at the martial arts tournament-same guy.He was doing a style of Drunken Boxing/Kung Fu. Because there of different styles of Drunken Boxing, I can't say which he was doing, but it looked like it could be the Shaolin style of Drunken Boxing.

The pyro guy showed up but the director apparently didn't since no one told the pyrotechnics guy to hide his damn wires. 2:54-2:59

Really, really late to this one so if this has already been mentioned apologies in advance. Too many comments to read through😊. You all are blowing up, well deserved! You mentioned Bruce Lee and Enter the Dragon because of Bolo(awesome film, has more than stood the test of time). The guy playing "Dai Lo Fu" is Ong Su Han, and he played a character in Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story who fights Bruce Lee(Jason Scott Williams). Erin laughing to snort levels was hilarious 😂. You two clearly were destined for each other. I remember you saying you met in college but if one of you hadn't gone, I'm like 99% certain you would have met at an airport or convention somewhere.

Bolo Yeung is always great to watch even if he does very little on-screen. He once played a villain called Chang Lee in a film called Bloodfight which was made before Bloodsport despite sounding almost the same. Maybe one day you could check that one out :)

Bolo Yeung was actually a very successful bodybuilder, winning Mr Hong Kong (the Asian Mr Olympia) 10 years in a row. So, yes, he did tons of roids. :) Legends says that he escaped China swimming to Hong Kong, as a youngster.

I screened TCII during my tenure at HBO/CINEMAX and recommended it only based on title recognition, cast and genre. The company bought this one (and the follow-up) and did very well on the services. Part 1 was the best, but anything with Queen Cynthia is always a fun screener!
