Really love that you ask pricing for everything. Too many reviewers skip over that and it’s the first question we’re all asking ourselves when we see something nice.
The company that sells a bomb trigger at half the price of Geissele just for giggles. And made pistol length iron sights for an AR... Aka one of the strangest companies on the planet.
Took the words right out of my mouth. And... That knife is not worth $350 no way no how. I build hand forged knives way nicer than that for half that price and mine actually come with a sheath.
Got interested in the video, heard it was Larue then immediately stopped caring. $4200 without scope. I am surprised these guys are still in business with how high their prices are.
@@wyomins yeah no, the shop is in Leander TX it’s like 3 warehouses built in the 70s under the alias “Austin Precision Products” and nothing inside the warehouses has been updated since the company started. Half the CNC machines outright don’t work. The saw’s where I was (wasn’t supposed to be but that’s a whole other story) only had 2-3 out of 5 at a time working. I knew the guy in this video and he stayed in the corporate office a few miles off from the shop, only was there a few times but the office far as I could see sucked too. Lots of water damage and just generally felt like it was ready to come down on top of you.
They have a vault full of these seites that are not selling lol. Plus they have had this battle knife for a long time but mark refused to focus on them. Fast forward to today now he is forced to try and sell these knives due to financial problems lmao.
LaRue needs to manufacture the stripped upper recivier, so we can finish our uppers , after they sold those lower sets 556 & AR10.. Please LaRue make some more standard milspec stripped upper recivers 556 , so we can finish our lower recivers!! please!
Only a few companies so nice for that much and that’s cuz they were the best top-of-the-line w/ a crap ton of folds blacksmithed into the steel and other high end artistry, craftsmanship, and equipment. Now it’s the norm to charge that much
All the people crying about the prices should try starring their own companies, pay all the fees, buy the tooling and equipment and pay the wages and insurance on their employees. Or they can stick to Walmart garbage
Problem is LaRue doesn’t pay the wages, ask me how I know. Also every CNC machine in that shop was from the 80s when I worked there and 25% of them were broken all the time.
@sonzu-officialmusicchannel640 so you think older machines are free to get and maintain? Try pricing out a lathe or a mill of any age. I have and they aren't cheap. Hell just price a chunk of commercial land, a building and permitting, let alone all the government hoops
@@Mathew__Thomas No not free, what I’m saying is they don’t reinvest into the company. Half the saws they had refused to run, they had a *entire* room detached and dedicated purely for the broken CNC machines. But mark wouldn’t buy even a handful to replace a few of them.
I must say, everything about this company seems annoying….just oozing that “we are special and expensive” vibe. No thanks. Big turn off….and the no sheath with a battle knife is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.
