Watching Pete apply the Banshee Brown and seeing it cover like absolute garbo always makes me happy because I have this exact same problem with that exact same color 😁. Great video!
I have to tell you, I'm not doing a winter version of bolt action, but I love watching these and get new ideas each time I do.... I hope Army Painter is helping you make these, because I never bought their paint before I saw these videos. Well done.....
Love this! Amazing! I have found a lot of tutorials on RU-vid, but this gets right up close and breaks it down in a way I can finally understand. Thank you! Subscribed!
I like the video a lot and I really love how yto list all your materials and paint colors. Many other vloggers dont do this and they should. Great job!
I continue enjoying your tutorials ever since I found them by chance. Keep up the good work. Also, do you think this could be used on an imperial guardsman for 40K?
Hi Pete.ive watched several of your tutorials and very well done.on some of your tutorials you shade then highlight and others you highlight then shade.is there a right way wrong way to shade and highlight?
Lovely job. I plan on doing some winter troops very soon. I’ll echo the question in the other comments - what miniature did you use? Also, what did you use for the base?
That's fair. I just figured since you are a much better painter than I that you probably have some way of painting or whatever that will make them stand out :) Thank you so much for these videos by the way, they are amazing!
Great work, well done.i recently did as you suggested concerning the face.i used a games workshop flesh wash.it left the face shiny. Does the wash you use do the same.any help would be great.cheers
I feel the way you painted the helmet is backwards. A white base with dark grey chipping should look more like the white paint is on top of the dark paint
The reason I did it this way around is because I wanted to create the appearance of white wash on the helmet. White wash doesn't cover completely is translucent in places, much like what I've recreated here.
wouldn't it be smarter/easier if you divided the areas up by washes. so you could do all the areas that need a certain tone at a time. instead of paint tone paint tone paint tone, since you are very often using the same tone.
What brushes do you use to paint your miniatures? Yours seem very "pointy" almost like a pencil. Are they Army Painter brand? I would love to know for my own figures.
@@PeteTheWargamer so havent seen the video anywhere - maybe just a quick roundup here? I see Waffen SS body with shaved off webbing strips on the arm and a German Winter Head? right? where does the hood comes from? I would have guessed, greenstuff, but its cleary plastic. much appreciated mate! love your content
