@@joshuawarner5274 It is. It's horrible actually. I keyed mine to my F350, correctly, and sometimes it'll open fairly easily, other times - most times in fact - you have to fiddle with the key for 10 mins. or more in order to get the thing unlocked. They really are garbage - at least for a Ford key. I stopped using mine. I have 2 and they both suck, but one is worse than the other. Terrible design.
Have been using mine for 1 1/2 years through rain & snow with no issues. '19 Grand Cherokee key... Nope, no issues until just as I'm typing this. Sold the G.C. a couple weeks ago and forgot to take the lock off the trailer before I sold it. Car is 200 miles away now. Looks like the plasma cutter is coming out. 😧 Will have to buy a new pin & lock cyl anyways for new GM key which is a drawback when changing vehicles, unless you remember to have a duplicate key made first.
