I'm so excited for you , that truck is a masterpiece, and sharing the first cruise with your boy is priceless , your hard work has paid off big time , your gifted at this , I hope you will find another project to take us along on , I have been watching this build from the beginning and you have been a huge inspiration to me , thank you sir for sharing !
Gibson63, That has got to be the slickest 63 around!!!! watching your videos has really inspired me to work on my 64. I love the 60-66 body style. the color, the sound, the stance, the look that you have chosen for it is awsome! great to know that it will stay in the family. I bet it really felt good to get her out on the road! looks like Ky? Maybe I will see it on the road someday. btw, thanks for the advice you gave me on using the factory steering wheel.
I've followed your build from the start and you've done a beautiful job. I've been working on my 53' f-100 and many of your videos have helped me accomplish some of the areas I've had trouble with. Great build in bringing back a classic!
God I wish I could have done something like this with my father. He passed about 20 years ago, right as I was turning 16. Never got the chance. I'm buying a 63 c10 apache this weekend to start building it with my son. He turns 14 this year. These videos have really motivated me to do it.
I can only agree with all of the things the others have said here. You are truly a craftsman and an artist. That truck is a pearl and it not only looks fabulous, it moves and sounds great, too. Hats off to you!
Been watching the build and its good to see such quality work from home, nice work bud and hats off for letting the boy drive. I am sure its going to be a special truck for the both of you!
I have been watching almost all the videos on this truck and just have to say its a very nice truck. Ive never been a big fan of this body style, but these videos have made me like them more and more.

wow man, congrats on finishing this bad boy, now to hit some shows and take home all the trophies! Enjoy it, you sure put the time and effort into it and it just came out top notch. Congrats again! 8)
I've never been a fan of red but it works on this truck... It's beautiful... I know that first cruise had to be satisfying but I could tell you were a nervous wreck... Haha enjoy it man your worked your tail off on that truck
Wow! You have done a great job on it. One of the things I do to punch a hole in the carpet is to use a soldering iron. It stinks a bit, but it makes a nice hole and prevents any fraying.
Did a 51 Chevy 1/2 ton for my first car with my dad. Wrecked it 6 months later. Fixed it and wrecked it a year after that. Fixed it again and still use it for my daily driver 12 years later
truck is F'n sweet. Some states dont require seat belts on a vehicle that didn't come as a standard feature , your truck was a option. depending on what state your in you may not be required to put them in , I know we didnt put them in ours .....but it was built 15 years ago before all the seat belt shit came down......
