Bolts you NEED to Check on a KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas!

The motor mount bolts I like to torque then apply torque stripe so I can quickly and easily verify if the bolt has broken torque. Get some high-vis orange torque stripe, it almost matches the KTM orange!

We've had few KTM's from 2021-2024/85's-250's & our GasGas has lost more bolts than the other... I now understand the Ti bolts with the tie wire holes

Good info. IV had the linkage bolt nut come off completely on my 23 fc 350 I'm lucky it didn't wriggle out the bolt completely while I was riding. Also one of the torx bits from the engine mount came out

Could you please facilitate an introduction to Davey Coombs? I believe he is positioned to seize an unprecedented financial opportunity, potentially the most significant of his career. This is truly a once-in-a-generation prospect. While he has indicated that he is waiting for the proper planning to integrate Stark Varg and other electric bikes into the Supercross series, I suspect he may have other considerations in mind-or at least, he should. Davey should strongly consider negotiating equity, perhaps in the range of 10-30%, with Stark Varg in exchange for exclusive rights as the only electric bike manufacturer allowed to compete in the series. This move would be akin to getting in on the ground floor of companies like Honda, Yamaha, and Kawasaki. Such a strategic decision could exponentially increase his net worth and position him for long-term success.

Are the engine mounts 60 Ft pounds or NM? You went from NM to Foot pounds

Ngl I check my sprocket bolts and clamps, but I did 150hrs on my 17ktm 105hrs on my 20ktm now 42hrs on my 23 husky 350 never ever checked all the “bolts” that are suppose to come loose on ktms 🤣 never had an issue

Spokes. Spoooooookes. Fuck man even aftermarket spokes and wheels get crazy loose, spinning far from true at this point.

Bottom motor mounts are 60nm. NOT ft lbs. In ft lbs the correct spec is 43 ft lbs

Every damn one, spokes constantly. Ive owned one KTM in my 47 years of racing/riding. They're too expensive and highly overrated.

Be careful when using an extension on a torque wrench, makes it hard to get an accurate torque

6 minutes to say swing arm bolt and upper and lower engine mounts is kinda excessive.
