Y’all have no idea how hyped I am for this, easily my most anticipated game of 2023

At first, I thought this was just a spiritual successor, but this trailer alone shows its more than that. They're taking the spirit of Jet Set Radio, and running 50 miles with it. I'm beyond hyped for this game, and major props to Team Reptile!

Long time JSRF player here. I think i can speak for all my fellow fans in saying we're so grateful for the team that put this together.. couldnt be more excited!

I cannot understate how crucial it is that the vocal interjections/shouts are on point, like as a CORE EXPERIENCE of playing too much JSR/F, I'm very excited just to hear these characters just yellin' "HAHAAA" "C'MON!" "YOOO!" just... gonna make my year man.

I don’t think I’ve ever been the target audience so hard in my life! I’m beyond excited and no words can do this justice. You are returning our childhoods to us. Please never stop making these games. I want the opportunity to watch the formula grow. The song was 10/10 would have fit perfectly into JSRF

One of the rare cases in my life as a gamer where I am ready to pay the game full price as soon as it is released, just to support the initiative of this kind of developers who clearly love what they do.

This game is going to be a testament just like many others out there that anything is possible and if THEY don't wanna do it for you then do it yourself! We've been begging SEGA for YEARS for a sequel to jet set radio future and never got one. Now comes the perfect timing where computing power is available, graphics engines are becoming more user friendly and the craving for these types of games are hungrier than ever to influence people to want to make these games. Sunset Overdrive was an echo to let people know we were still here and even than fan made JSRF VR World on VRCHAT was to show what other experiences could be like, even games like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 is a testament to how the originals got it right the first time and just need a fresh new coat of paint with today's graphics. Welcome Bomb Rush Cyber Funk to the Big Leagues!

I genuinely can't believe we're so close to this game's release. It's been my most anticipated indie game since last year. As a newfound JSR fan i am overjoyed to be able to play something that faithfully captures everything that makes it so good.

I've been patiently waiting for this game for over 2 years. So I'm very excited to play it in a few weeks.

Not sure if I’m the only one, but this was one of the last games from my childhood that never got a proper sequel since. I still can’t believe we’re two weeks away. Been with Team Reptile since the Lethal League and knew they were gonna do Jet Set justice from that very moment. You guys seriously seem like you killed my expectations, so excited to play! I'm a HUGE fan of Hideki Naganuma's music direction for Sonic Rush as I listen to that OST constantly, So I KNOW this game is gonna have some mind blowing tracks. When this game pops up on the eshop the Hype train will truly start for me, and I cannot wait to hear these tracks

Never played any of the jet set radio games, I’ve wanted to play them ever since I first heard about them, I love the art style of the game and the music and the character designs are awesome as well, hopefully this is the closest thing I’ll get to experience to the real thing and that it ends up being really good.

Just realized how they make the outlines in the game engine - it is stupidly ingenious. dublicate character mesh, thicken, invert normal, backface culling. affordable and easy to recreate in any 3d app.
