Unless if that bomb truck is padded or that it was like a black power bomb the explosion was pretty quiet, I've heard bombs go off in those things and most of them are much louder than that. I feel like it was actually just a box of busses cards. But since the clip cut there I guess I'll never know.
The most unrealistic part is the bot just dropped the box in the container if it was a bomb it wouldve blown up before the hatch was closed still doing damage

He was very brave, and I could tell he was able to trust Sergeant Harrelson right away, because even though Hondo had a lot of tactical gear on, he had his service weapon holstered behind him and told Jack that he was not going to hurt him. If I’ve got to be honest, Jack seems like a very nice, kind, loving, helpful, polite, and caring kid.
Well seeing as all those cops and soldiers have just gotten fired for wanting to make medical decisions regarding their own bodies.... Id say they are replaceable.
real/trained bomb squad wouldn't put the bomb in the containment chamber they could have to check it first or at least look at it to figured out how it was made.
I'm writing this in October, aren't these the same guys who just blew up their containment vessel and a neighborhood because they determine if someone's fireworks were too dangerous.

its prolly just meant to reduce the amount of critical stress points you get, on corners and angles of rapid change the stress accumulates at the edge, so making it spherical will in turn cause the stress to be more equally distributed making it less likely to fail. critical stress is usually around 3x the normal stress through out a material so you'd essentially need to over engineer everything to reduce the over all stress so it wouldn't fail at the corners. the door it has is likely much thicker and built out of a stronger type of steel then the main body.
@@PlagueRunner well there are explosives that can detonate with out requiring O2, and implosion doesn't really have an affect on most explosions it usually only concentrates the density of the energy meaning its a higher pressure sooo......, its not at all for the fact that spheres are able to handle pressure distributions better then other shapes. there's a reason why deep pressure subs have spherical window domes, its not because they look cool btw.
You can't have any electrical energy door closing near bomb because of statics electricity 🔌 might set it off and go 💥 boom before the box enters through the bomb proof door.
More explosives for a sympathetic detonation, or use a small charge pushing a water slug that rips the bomb apart before it has time to go off. That's me on a watchlist lol, hi to whichever agency is reading!
