The Bombardier CS100 and CS300 have debuted at the Paris Air Show, where the manufacturer announced the new narrowbodies have beaten the performance expected when the project was announced. The company expects to complete certification of the CS100 at the end of 2016, with the CS300 to follow six months later.

+superskiier50 Bombardier is in deep financial crisis and may not be Canadian for long. It's always the same story; Canada has some good products, but our business sense is non-existent. Our companies either disappear or get bought out by foreign investors. We sell our companies even when our products are selling well. Our business leaders are the worse with absolutely no long-term vision.

She's a nice ship, I'm a former Bombardier flight test mechanic and worked the C Series program, its certainly a good performer. Hope they get it to market as promised.

Very nice cockpit. Good looking plane, much better than Boeing 737.

Michael Shih Doesn't really matter how it looks, it doesn't compete with 95% of the 737's being produced and those already produced. And for that matter it also looks better than the A320 series.

***** yes the venerable 737 aircraft. A top notch aircraft from Boeing and an established direct competitor to the CSeries.

CS300 competes with a319 neo and 737 max 7, no competition for a320/a321 neo and 737max8/9.

+Michael Shih Perhaps. Boeing is working on the 737 MAX right now. That looks like a really nice airplane. Once you design a new wing and install new engines, you've done 90% of the work to create a new aircraft.

I guess you misread something. The certification is due to be delivered at the end of 2015, not 2016. Beginning of 2016 will see the first deliveries. Does not look like a very serious media you are working for. lacking full verification of your infos.

I think many airport will finaly welcome a very silent airplane. It is also more economical (20%) then any other on fuel.

If these jets are as good as they say they are they should have sale contracts to prove it! Take your sale contracts to the bank they will back it if the contract is tight. Let sub contractors ask for R@D grants.
