It was funny when I was fishing for salmon here in ICELAND and some American anglers saw me skating a bomber. They were quick to tell me I was " doing it wrong " because I was supposed to fish it like a dry fly for trout. But just minutes later a salmon took the fly and I told them: this method has worked for me for years.
Would be great if you guys did a couple episodes on “high pressured waters” Anglers with your skill set might be able to show a thing or two to us normal guys. Your remote locations are beautiful but there is very little fishing pressure making the fish very easy to catch.
Wow a young Colin....were you still serving at this time. I love the Miramichi, used to guide there alot in my army days ....unfortunately I haven't been back in almost 10years
