I don't know why people complain about his voice. Bon Jovi sings since the 80's! He's getting older so its obvious that he won't sing high notes if its not necessary...Tha'ts for all musicians. If you want to see he singing like he sang in the 80's just search another video on youtube. We have to thank that he still sings and he's not retired....
Paulo Magalhães plenty of singers from the 80s that have the technique and professionalism to keep their voices in shape. Look at Steven Tyler, he's been singing since the seventies and can still all his crazy high notes.

He still manage to sing the “take my hand and we’ll make it I swear” and “livin on a prayer” before Richie’s solo. I can feel it’s giving him seconds of black out cause it’s not easy for him to hit high notes but still he tried and still make it. I admire him till now for doing it instead of doing lipsync.
Man this world will be so sad without Bon Jovi, Iron Maiden, AC DC, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and so many other great bands... I shed a fucking tear at the tought.
It doesn't matter where they play or who they are playing to, they ALL KNOW THE WORDS!!!! That would be such a high to hear the words sung back to you all around the globe. His voice may not be what it was but it's not like he can go out and buy a new one. Think about the thousands of shows for 30 years now. I think he sounds awesome. I love the whole band. Jon, Richie, Dave, and Tico are such amazing musicians.
I never get tired of this. I watch Jon, especially when they do the key change at the end and I go back to an interview he did with someone and his comment was "those high notes are a real bitch anymore". You can see on his face how much work it is. I am not looking forward to the day they call it quits, I've been listening to them for 30 years now.

Bon Jovi is still my idol! I started playing the drums at 8, played piano, guitar, sang, tried EVERYTHING to write and record songs for people to sing, and NOTHING... Bon Jovi DID... That is enough for me to realize this man is a Legend! Love this guy, and his band for what they have accomplished!

Sine the 90's onwards Jon hardly ever sang the chours. The man has a type of asthma which affects his singing yet he still does it to please the fans which he never lets them down. He admitted himself in interviews that he struggles with that song and high notes, So give him credit for trying and still dong what he does for 30 years and still coming out at number one, Don dis the man for trying.

lack of knowledge is one the worst thing on this earth. every human being is different. VOICE is not GUITAR, or DRUMS. it really depends on the person. Also, some people say it'd be better if he stop performing now, I gotta say I hate seeing how hard is for him to sing sometimes now, but bands like Bon Jovi well, they don't need extra money, they're beyond rich, they still perform because they LOVE to, they still have something to GIVE. And they DO. Real fans just stick with them,it's like LOVE.
He had vocal problems in the early noughties after the Bounce album tour. I would very suspect he's had surgery to remove growths from his vocal chords - he now sings through the top of his head and through his upper pallet rather from the throat which protects his voice. Richie Sambora historically always did the very high parts in Living on a prayer anyway.
I think Jon and guys are still in great vocal conditon taking into consderation that they've been on stage so many years. For me its' just amazing! Some guys who only start their career in show buisness sound much WORSE live than they do. Respect for Bon Jovi.

he sounds great here, so clean and crisp, if you want to see him struggle a bit look at some recent stuff, not the same. Amazing what 3 years of age can do.
