These old performances make me so sad....such beautiful harmonies that are now gone forever. I will always be a fan, but damn I miss the golden age of this band.😭
Bon Jovi without Sambora would be like peanut butter with no jelly. I don't think I've seen any other 2 humans who's voices blended better. Years later and I still say best harmonies I've ever heard.
Man I was so happy to see the “80’s guys wearing ponytails (not so much then) however they wore there make up and powerful perms better than I ever could pull off! I never liked a lot of their wardrobe as I am a year younger than Jon, guys didn’t sport that look only as entertainer’s. He had me hooked in 82-83 and thanks for one hell a a journey.❤

Just blowing my mind. I've always Been utterly infatuated with this band from my adolescence to my now 41 years old . The Internet has been an awesome outlet for all that is Joviesque& daaang....I'm loving it! This performance about killed me. Jon at his perfect best but to me Richie was simply amazing ...vocals almost made me swoon lol. He played that double neck with such a proficiency I don't thin I understood how accomplished hew was/is . Richie baby,,,respect luv! But I'll always be a Jonbon babe straight up forever!
Yaay for your age I calculate that like me you are a Crush era generation of fans. The milenial fans. We are the youngest fans of the band. From our now mid 30s to early 40s. You became a fan exact at the crush era because he was turning 40 at the time hehe
They were BOTH SO VERY TALENTED for JUST KIDS! I know that kids are talented today, but these guys were just on a whole different level. Just two (really one) guitars and raw voices on stage in front of thousands of screaming kids! I don't think many could sound like this! They both still have it, too! Saw Bon Jovi in February of this year, and the ONLY thing missing was Richie! Too bad, cause they BOTH would be so much better TOGETHER!
@@juliamicenkova241 yeah that was FATE for them to meet and be in the band together!! someone that Jon did not realize he truly needed. I heard him say in an interview that he did NOT like change therefore the same girlfriend and wife for decades. His heart was truly broken in a trillion pieces when Richie his right hand band mate / brother just left with no contact.

This concert deserves to be digitized to 4K image or at least 1080 standard bluray for future special sets. It was by far the best concert on The New Jersey Syndicate Tour and is recorded with professional cameras.
It's one of the best recordings of the tour (technically, Tokyo was captured better, but I don't like the sound mix there), but I'd immediately know at least 5 shows on that tour that were better. Still a great concert, as usual for that time period and much better than Rio.
@@apachelogiano612 That has nothing to do with it being captured better. I meant that out of all recordings we have from that tour, the pure audio and video quality of that one is better than the rest.

Es increible, pero Jon andaba con Richie Sambora por las calles de valparaiso sin guardias ni escolta que yo haya visto. they are just regular human beings with loved ones and a daily life with ups and downs and sometimes cray cray lives just like the rest of us. Both still get attention while in public especially Jon, both have their issues just like all other humans. well except they live in beautiful 🥀mansions in the best zip codes and have traveled all over the world many times as seasoned musicians playing for thousands of fans. Richie's daughter is the most important person in his life and Jon's family is the most important in his life just like with us. 🥀
