THIS...OMG, so true. Richie is amazing...better vocals, better musician, better writer...and, better looking, just sayin'. Yeah, Jon's ego is a big turn off for me.
Not close. Jon is a weak guitarist & pianist, plus his never-strong voice has been trash for decades now. His strengths were a runaway ego & the dumb luck to have a relative who ran a legendary recording studio. His “talent” should have him singing Hootie covers in South Shore bars. Richie, OTOH, could have played/sang with anyone.
@@canoone1975to rough opinion. For sure he was good leader, businessman and pretty wise doing decisions always thinking twice or more... I was disappointed going for the first concert 10 years ago, and there was no Riche :(
Been coming to this video on here for 11 years, since I was 17. Now I’m 28 and married and it just gets better and better. Always come to the comments and see a comment I remember from years ago. Love it.
i had never heard Davids vocal and wow yes - boys got a voice !! always thought Ritchie was an amazing vocalist and a lot more of the "Bon Jovi" sound than he probably got credit for ! Bravo
Underrated? So underrated that there's even a FENDER STRATOCASTER with his signature, man, FENDER wouldn't put it on one of their products if Richie Sambora wasn't a phenomenon on the 6 strings.
Tan cierto como la vida misma!! Lo peor es que no lo reconocerán mientras viva,y después se forraran con el merchandising de su obra.... reconocimiento ahora a quien corresponda por favor!!!!!😭😭😭😭
the last richie sambora moment in the band, and one of the best richie sambora moments of all time... there's no bon jovi without him, andnothing could change my mind... love you ric... thank you for the inspiration, thank you for everything....
Danke
What can I say... Jon & Ritchie are the heart & soul of Bon Jovi... Jon is the heart that keeps the group beating ... But Ritchie is the Soul & Aura .. When he left the group is like the group was in a coma... Awakening is a miracle that what it needs.
Still thinking why people compare both Bon Jovi and Richie when both of them gave their best in every performance they had. Why can't we appreciate one without spitting on the other? Appreciate both of them, people. Anyway, I love your performanceee Richie! ❤️ I am one of your forever fans!
The voice & guitar that have made me swoon since I was 17. Standing on the guard rail in my high heeled black granny boots right in front of you all nite at the Slippery When Wet Tour w/ Cinderella. I flashed you & you smiled. Good times 😊😆
Wth i know this dude, its my old MySpace friend, Richie aka Mr Swing King as I used to call him, he liked that... Ooh man back before the old interweb lost its innocents and about a Quazillion trillion billion IQ points.. We will always be there for you Richie... Damn... you the man😊
Happy Birthday 63!!! This is without any doubt, THE BEST VERSION! Love you so much, RICHIE SAMBORA! We all do! Have a Blast tonight on your Birthday Celebration.. I hope your sweet AVA and people you love, Will Be There for You and make you the happiest man! My Darling, Brilliant, Gorgeous, Talented Richie. God bless you! Always!!! Powerful Richie 🥂🎊💫⭐️😍😘🥰✌🏼🌟💫⭐️⚡️✨🌟⚡️⚡️⚡️🌟💥⭐️💫💫
Bon jovi have and will always be my absolute favourite group of all time. I have all the albums and all the memories from the start to now. And I will be 60 in July. I still love rock music, and I always will. And I don't care what anyone says about me being too old. Life is for living and that's what I hope to do.My one regret is that I have never seen them live yet. Richie you rocked this out man. Epic performance. And that guitar solo towards the end WOW ,We miss you. Come back.
GawdDAMN he sounds good!!!!!!!!!!! He truly stole the show. He’s as good a front man as Jon-and more musically talented. He could have carried this band with absolutely no problem had Jon not been around.
The best is after richie says sing it new york the 3 big guys 2 white one black screaming the lyrics along with richie, shows you music can move mountains god bless
@@pam4697 I've been great! I know you must be surprised to get a reply from me right? Well, i actually opened this account as my official chat account so i can have a little time for my fans and know how some of you feel about me and my songs precisely.
Yeah...wow... impossible not to cry everytime I listen to this song... Richie performance is brilliant . Look at his face, so emotional, we can feel his heart through his voice in every single second of it... I miss those days when they were all playing together, and I was much younger than I am now... and the music scenario was so much better and beautiful...
Richie has the MSG audience in his hands. He was the backbone of Bon Jovi and wouldn't Jon like to have Richie's amazing voice now as his voice is gone.
@@stephanusjohannes422 when his recovery will be finished he will sound a lot better I believe. But I know a fantastic Coverband called Bounce from Germany and the leadsinger sounds Like Jon in Bon Jovi's biggest hits.
As much as I know bon jovi has throat issues and is getting older as we all are but his voice is smokey velvet and David Brian backed vocals.is top tier ..... richie,s voice is amazing have cried and laughed to his voice and this song reminds me of my daughter who I don't as much as I want to this is perfection personified.... 😢
I just totally admire the way he does this song...besides being technically proficient, he puts FEELING into the lyrics, like he has lived this song, or IS living it...have SO many heart-squeezing lines in this song, hard to have a favorite, but he hooks you right off the bat when he sings "I guess this time you're really leaving...I heard your suitcase say goodbye" OUCH!!! He is sooo underrated for his talents as an individual, he & Jon may inspire each other, but Richie doesn't need ANYONE...he can write it, sing it, play it & make you BELIEVE it!!
Not on a whole new level, but probably just on a different level. However, and for me, the original, Jon Bon Jovi's is still THE BEST and of course most iconic.
Big Bon Jovi fan here from Japan. Went to the New Years Countdown concert in 90. This is a totally different song now, love it!! Miss Richie.... David's voice is great too😍 I would buy a CD again😆
man that's true talent to sing those vocals and play that guitar with it all those changes and chord changes etc awesome with incredible solo at the end wow
Richie sings from his heart, gut & soul. Only a singer who's lived a thousand lives can bring up all that emotion from those depths. Musically he's brilliant, he knows what his fans want & he always delivers.. he's the magic man and the show he puts on is always pure, no smoke screens just authentic & raw like the man himself! Great freaking song!!!
Agreed. So sad Jon can't sing anymore. He gave it all for the fans. And sad Richie had to bow out of the band, he couldn't go on the way the machine was running. Richie and Jon are two musical martyrs. God bless 'em!
