I’m Puerto Rican and I won’t live on the Island. The Red Tape in doing simple business is outrageous, the only thing higher the the taxes on the island is the crime. We moved to Florida. It’s nice over here. The traffic is out of hand with the Snowbirds. We are now looking into other tropical places to move to. Puerto Rico has become old.
Thanks for your comments Jose, Bonaire is definitely higher priced than many places we have visited. Have you looked at the Bay Islands off of Honduras? They were definitely more affordable. - Jenny and Lance
@@CrazyEmptyNest we’ve been to Roatan several times. I’m considering Belize as an alternative to Island living. I know Belize has several Islands that are beautiful, but I think I’m a land lover. We’ve been to most of the Islands of Hawaii. We tried Santa (Avalon) Catalina Islands, San ( Friday Harbor) Juan Islands. I love to visit them, but I think I’m not an Islander.
