We renovated and lived in a vintage RV for a year, overlanded all over the U.S. and now travel full time and explore places that are off the beaten path.

I am a Washington state resident and have been a full-time RVer since 2007. I did receive some correspondence from the Department of Licensing regarding the address on my driver's license which was questionable. After some back and forth correspondence The DOL told me that I was just fine and I have continued to maintain my Washington residency, even though I do not have a physical address there.😊
That's the one thing I keep hearing, the person at the counter, makes the final decision even though everything has been met by their requirements. Which is crazy, what the hell are the rules and requirements used for, oh yes a guideline. they need to add, please note, if anyone at the counter is having a bad day, doesn't like how you look, doesn't like where your passport is from, thinks you have bad fashion sense, your name is close to the person they are hating that day.... basically anything that makes no sense, they can choose to use their personal feelings to deny you.
We were there in March-April and stayed in Kralendijk at a Marriott hotel because we had status with them and found a cheap rate. Any hotel on or near Kaya Gob. N. Debrot street across from Klein Bonaire will put you right in the heart of the night life. Cheers! - Lance and Jenny
hi great video. We are a family of 5 (3 kids 17, 14, 11). We love adventure. We are planning a trip to Belize in Dec for 9 nights. Where should we stay? Should we base in one area or move around? Is it worth takign the time to fly to Ambergris Caye? thanks!
@@ghazalvahdat9997 - We’d split our time between Ambergris Caye or Caye Caulker and San Ignacio. This way, you’d get the beach and the jungle. San Ignacio would have a lot of outdoor adventures for the kids you can see in our other videos such as ATM cave, kayaking, Mayan ruins. Hope you have a great trip! - Lance and Jenny
I have had same problem with Hawaiian and southwest. Let us fly two times then depending on person at the counter determines if we go or not. So frustrating, I feel same my dog is everything to me. I would never do anything that would hurt her in any way. We have two homes and go back and forth.
I have 7 kids. I have 2 in heaven. My baby is 23 and threatening to go. My husband has NO dreams! I say he is missing the dream gene. I hate this part of life. Deal g with grief from loss and this is hard.

I have heard american airlines is the worst for allowing them on. When I was shopping for tickets, I actually filtered them out. I have my first flight coming up in Sept and need to take my dog. I am flying there on southwest and back on delta. Hope it goes ok!
I'm heading to Belize the middle of October for a week long scuba diving trip on the Belize Aggresor....one entire week on the ocean..no hotel..eat, sleep, dive repeat!! This video has me excited!!!

hi love your videos. does Belize has beautiful beaches to get into the ocean? which resort is the luxury resort in Belize to stay with a beautiful beach with clear water. Please share. I found your info about Roatan too. What is your thoughts on Kimpton resort - Roatan west bay? The beach seem beautiful but narrow so trying to decide which Caribbean island my husband and I should visit. We have been to Anguilla and spoiled.
We stayed at the Alaia Belize because we are Marriott platinum members and got all sorts of free upgrades. Most resorts in Belize have great beaches that are cared for daily, so look for the best resort for your budget. We preferred Roatan to Belize because it was cheaper, the beaches were cleaner, and it was less touristy when we were there. We were looking to relax and enjoy the area not party day and night so for us, Roatan was the winner. We not familiar with the Kimpton in West Bay but most of the resorts in West Bay are top notch with the best beaches and amenities. Good luck! - Jenny and Lance
My elder son left home to study overseas 3 years ago, and now the youngest is ready to leave by next year. Its hitting hard all over again, realising that the time is nearing when the house is going to be empty. Sadly, my husband chose to cope all by himself in his own way by keeping to himself and busy with work. In these 3 years since our elder son left, our marriage has taken the blow, and I fear the worse with my younger son also leaving by next year. He is just not acknowledging there is a problem with our marriage, n I m making it bigger by feeling what I feel.
You shoud definitely start a campaign that can go out there publicly to support dog flying in the cabin, and the pre-screening ideea is the best I heard!
I read about a couple who were on a connecting flight and had their dog in a carrier much like this couple. So when they brought the dog up to the counter the agent refused them entry. So they were terrified that they would be stuck at the airport. However, their suitcases were already in the cargo hold so the couple demanded that they wanted their luggage if they couldn’t board the flight. The couple told the attendant to call the captain of the plane. The pilot showed up and heard that they already had flown on another plane and this was their last flight home. They also told the captain that they needed their luggage returned to them at the airport if they were denied the flight. However, the hassle of finding their luggage without removing a substantial amount of other luggage would have delayed the flight. The captain overrode the attendant and they boarded. If you are denied due to an attendant, try getting the pilot signed he/she have the last word. Not sure if this will always work, but an attendant who makes ill judgement calls due to attitude or misconceptions is way too much power.
We just experienced this American Air which we booked ticketed us on Aer Lingus which is a no pet airline. fortunately, we noticed and cancelled. When we cancelled the ticket agent re-instated the ticket - We had to go to top mgmnt to get the ticket refunded. The ticketing agent then called us at home as harassment. This is routine for all airlines. BUYER beware.

Im on holiday in belize for 9 years straight. Still havnt seen everything. I dont like to lookup things i like to stumble onto something. Wherever the day takes me is where im at.
I had the same experience with American Airlines. I immediately went to Southwest Airlines and was issued a ticket and my dog and I flew back to Florida. I will never fly American again.
My situation is slightly different. I was a single dad who got custody of both kids because their mother and her boyfriend fled police with my kids in the vehicle. There was a crash where the bf was killed and my daughter was injured. My son thankfully was physically unharmed. Their mother went off to prison for it. I went into this hyper protective mode that never left. Fast forward 16 years to now and my daughter is on her own and my son just left for the military. The feelings I have are actually quite shocking. A pit of despair I never knew existed. Videos like these make me realize I’m not as alone as I feel. I’m off to hike in Utah for a few weeks so I’m hoping for some solace.
We can't imagine what you've been through. It sounds like you are taking positive steps for your own mental and physical health, great job! Never fly with American Airlines. I planned a trip with my dog to the Bahamas and the lady at the check in ruined our trip. Delta is the best airlines to fly with a pet in cabin!
