You're absolutely right I love you as well I mean him I'm sorry my phone tends to write the wrong stuff and it gets to be annoying but what I'm trying to say is that I agree with you I grew up watching this with my mom and dad and let's just say this show holds this very special place in my heart.
Great movie Michael Landon jr. You guys tried to make it like the original Bonanza. I miss them all now 45 years later. Rip Loren, Pernell, Dan and Michael you will always be in my heart since the day my uncle introduced me at you guys at the age of 3
Maria Vaz - I thought this was just ridiculous when I watched it years ago. No way Hoss had children before he died since he died prior to Season 14 and there were none then. No way Joe leaves his family to fight a war. Just no way.
I love watching Bonanza over and over again and i am always in tears when i think they are all gone including my dad last week. i know that we all will die some day but its still very painful, i was close to my dad , i feel my life has ended. . Life is too short and gose by quickly . God bless.

I feel you pain that I watched with my dad and family great memories , all gone : > (
A lot of people here have said that this movie was garbage. I agree that it wasn't the best it could have been (except for this scene, which moved me to tears because of the photos and music), but I think the actors here did the best they could. I mean, by this time all of the original actors on Bonanza had been dead for years (except for Pernell Roberts, who gladly left Bonanza behind decades earlier), so the 'kids' didn't even have the benefit of their experience, even secondhand. They were trying to be worthy of people that weren't around anymore. Not an easy task, to say the least. This is just my opinion, but I think these kids deserve a little slack.
They didn't have to be replicas of the original cast, they are their own people. I wish my kid was my clone, but he ain't. He's his own little man with some of my quirks. 😭😭😭 So you are right, they deserve slack.
I've never watched this show, but this makes me sad. Sometimes I think that when you have a show as good as Bonanza was, when it ends, you should just leave it alone. Don't make a sequel, a second generation of characters, or any kind of continuation. It's just not the same. I would rather just watch the originals over and over and enjoy them as they are. It makes the characters seem alive. With this little clip, I am reminded that they are "dead and gone" ( like poor Howard). It just gives me a bad feeling. I don't need that. Those " high and mighty Cartwrights" ( the original ones) will live on in my memory ( and on my boxed DVD sets) for years to come.
Thanks for this wonderful video. I tried once to watch the movie, but seeing the boys’ kids there in the ranch yard where so many memories of Ben and the boys were; knowing they were gone and not coming back. I couldn’t finish watching the movie. I know that is life but it still hurt. 💕😔
A.C. has decided he doesnt want to follow in his dads footsteps and become an engineer so hes dropped out of college. (In this movie Adam owns a mining company in Australia.)
Just my two cents, but I think the storyline was that since Hoss was killed in an accident he never got to know his child and that was why his son did not get to know him. Also, from what I understand, since the Little Joe character was a war hero who was killed in battle, he may have "left" his family to fight for a cause he believed in and thus his son felt abandoned. In keeping with the character of Little Joe and the Cartwrights' commitment to duty he may have felt it was his duty to leave.
Hey Hawkfan. This video comes from the 1993 Bonanza, The Return whisc was a Cartwright next generation TV movie. Somebody asked me to post this and so I dod.
This wasn't anything like the original ones. Supposedly Hoss was killed before he ever got to marry. So I didn't think he had any children. There's just so little that lines up with the original story line. Sometimes it's not a good idea to have a sequel, especially to a good thing like Bonanza.
I don’t find it believable that none of the Cartwright sons had a close relationship with their children. I don’t think that the gun would have been stored in the barn being that they had that huge gun cabinet in the front room. Family photos are usually kept in a safe place also. I do appreciate the attempt at a Bonanza movie but one can never go back to the past success of the original series.
I'VE NOTICED MICHAEL JR. BARELY LOOKS LIKE HIS DAD. BRIAN DOES KINDA LOOK LIKE DIRK OR DAN IN A CERTAIN PROFILE. MCALISTER MAYBE HAS VERY LITTLE NEAR LOOKS. WE ALL KNOW DIRK LOOKS MORE LIKE DAN. EVEN AS WE SEEN HIM GROW.
😂 RPG I have with my friend😂😊 my character her name is Judith and she is married to Adam end AC😊 it's actually her son right now he's the baby is only two years old now she also has twins Elizabeth and Benjamin the boy and girl but she 18 the name to the character that's why we're working on right now
