Franchot Tone is a famous movie star from the 30s & 40s! It was interesting to see him acting again years later! The volume is a tad too quiet... but still enjoyable with headphones! Thx a ton!
🙆🏼♀️TY SuzieQ Wonder! Just deemed this *_unwatchable_* 🤦🏼♀️ then read your comment ... dug out my old headphones now i can watch/HEAR it! *_THANX AGAIN!_* 🥳🤟🏼💋
The Bonanza movie 🍿 I just watched was The Mountain Girl 👧. It was a cute ☺️ movie and it reminded me of the Tammy movies 🍿. I don’t remember what the name of it was, Tammy and the Bachelor sounds familiar but I know it starred Debbie Reynolds and Tony Randall. Also, I saw Calamity Jane starring Doris Day. And the Walt Disney nature movies 🍿. Brings back lots of memories. Anyway, The Mountain Girl was really good 😊 and I’m glad her grandpa saw through Steffanie’s machinations to make Trudy and Paul look 👀 like mountain 🏔 hicks and the true values that they had. I loved 🥰 it when Trudy gave her that zinger about knowing better than to embarrass someone you’re eating with at the dinner table. 😅😅😅😅😅
It's a lot harder to just jump on a horse than Michael Landon makes it look there at the end. Those were the little touches that gave Bonanza that authentic feel all those years.
I used to ride horses when I was younger and I always had to use the stirups to get into the saddle. When riding bareback I rolled onto the horse by grasping the horse's mane and doing what Michael Landon does.
Great guest stars on Bonanza, many gone now unfortunately. Wonderful to see Franchot Tone from Trail of the Viglantes, The virginian, Wagon train etc. Thanks for sharing this episode Denver McKee.
I love all Westerns..they have true meaning of what people went through an how you could depend on eachother with your word.. God bless an lets hope for a better tomorrow
A girl named Connie came to Cartwright family to celebrate her birthday. Joseph Cartwright fell in love with her. They went together riding and spent time together. The boy want to marry her but her father refused him. There is a fighting with criminals and the girl's father died. Connie left Joseph and went home. This is the story. Every character is superb.Amazing story. Great experience.Cowboys. Western Classics.
Back when shows like this was done, the male stars were kept single so that their adoring female fans would keep watching the show. It didn't make since to me why they never could keep any women on the show until i read about it in a magazine.
I enjoy looking at all the little touches on the set. The family Bible on the table at Denver's home! Some of the houses had much more delicate furnishings than the massive masculine Ponderosa 😉
Ben: "He could out-draw me any day of his life" Me: If he could, then how come you drew faster? I think that hat and the black hat he wore in San Francisco Holiday looked the best on Lorne
X favor soy de argentina podrian poner las series de bonanza en argentino son mis series favoritas al higual que el gran chaparal .y la familia inglas los felicito a nuestra edad es el recuerfo mas hermoso que nos dan muchisimas gracias
Gracias, hermana. We do have more movies that will come out pero un poco un poco para presentar los ejemplos de series de bonanza en tu lugares en Argentina o Latina America. Perdon, hablo espanol pero un poco. Dios te bendiga a ti y a tu familia. 😍
The only way he could escape the gang/trouble he was in would have been to leave and go far away. That was what he and his daughter had planned. But she fell in love, and he was trapped. He could have outdrawn Ben; he did actually and got a shot off but missed.(?)
The only episode of Bonanza directed by famed horror & film noir director Jacques Tourneur. (Cat People, I Walked with a Zombie, Out of the Past, etc.)
@@lauriedavis400 A world of grammer, where people adhere to protocol no matter how difficult. Where people say "Excuse my English" and mean it. Best language invented by humans.
I know-- scary eh? They never bothered to check pulses in these shows, and even if they did it would be for 2 seconds-- not long enough to even locate the pulse! Must have buried a lot of people who fainted, haha!
I kinda like the theme music - its raw, tough and rough like Bonanza episodes often are. Only problem with the theme music is its being played at a much slower tempo than usual. Sounds like the musicians who play it were high on Whiskey. LOL.
I didn’t see her as the right girl for little Joe. She always looked so blah 😒 and washed out. And that brown suit she had on when she left certainly didn’t do a thing for her figure. From the back it made her look 👀 like a good match for Hoss. 🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴
Volume is not up loud enough to hear it. If you going to load it check the volume before you post it next time. Redo this one with the volume up higher
37:43 🙆🏼♀️Seems out of character for’lil Joe to wanna get married so quickly?🤷♀️ EDIT: BS. If she _really_ loved ‘lil Joe she’d have married him! But i’m *SO GLAD* she didn’t!😁🤟🏼💋
@@lauriedavis400 Of course appreciate and glad to see the reruns. But this seems to want to make a draggy funeral. Bonanza was about excitement. Not old "remember the days when Bonanza was on TV? They're all dead, now." Bad music for an always intentionally exciting show.
🙋🏼♀️Yes i see your point David Brown.🤔💭 Tbh i’m always glad to see ppl comment regardless of opinion! 🥳 Just didn’t want the “poster” to feel any reason to *stop downloading* because i enjoy these shows so much! 😬 Anyhoo TY for your input! 😉🤟🏼💋
@@lauriedavis400 I have loved "Bonanza" since I was seven. Real men, real situations, real values, real horses, everything. With global TV, the world counts on Americans to be Ben and his boys. "Pa? What do you think we should do?"
🙋🏼♀️Yes David Brown i clearly recall sitting around the 📺as a family👨👩👧👦 perusing _Bonanza_ 🤠back then. i’m sure my attraction was to the *handsome men* but now that i’m older it means so much more! Prolly like everyone else who’s tuning in here i (incessantly!) watch the reruns 📲because we simply can’t find this kind of quality programming elsewhere nowadays. It’s kinda 😢 but i’m so grateful that’s it’s available! 🙌🏻💋
My god that music is worse than any high school band could ever be-- laughable-- even something in the public domain, like Camptown Races would have been better as long as professionals were playing it.
