When I added a neutered boar to my two girls, they practically ignored each other until the girls came into season. Then he was chasing them around and they also were seeking him out. Natural guinea pig behaviour I suppose. They've been together for over a year now and it's very harmonious - thankfully. Hope it's a success for your 4 girls too.
I don't know these pigs and this is my first time watching your channel but when you said Winston is now an official part of the herd I got so happy for him!!!
Awww I am so happy they go along with each other. When my piggies fought for the first time I rly didnt know what to do. I see you were prepared with a towel around your arm, I just went in bare hands and it actually hurt >< but its all good now they go along well. like your piggies :)
I just wanna say I love your videos. You taught me so much about Guinea pigs and how to treat them. I actually have had one in the past and I took care of her a lot different then I will be with the new two I’m adopting this weak actually. An example, is instead of bedding, I’m using fleece. Thank you for all that you do to take care of Guinea pigs and rescuing them.

....and my two girls are frequently head to head, teeth chattering, rearing and launching at each other, but never any injury. Two sisters been together 3 years, go figure 😃
I have a senior guinea pig and 2 baby ones, and I am to scared to do a bonding session because of dominance issues, one seems to love the senior pig a lot while the other tends to somewhat “get annoyed “ by her appearance, so these videos actually help a lot with my confidence it’s gonna work because coralline is the same way as my senior and whinston is the same at the one pig that is the dominant one. (More less king or queen of the duo).

I need some advice!! So I have three single males, in which two have never gotten along. But their cages are all next to each other so they sniff through the bars and lay next to each other. Those two piggies when first put next to each other would teeth chatters and do the like “squaring up”. One pig has been single for 3 months, the other has been single for about a month. They’ve been sleeping together through the bars, talking to each other, and the one who has been single for a month seems like he really wants to be with the other pig. But here’s the twist, I tried around September of last year, they got into a really bad fight and I got bit which sent me to the er for stitches. I haven’t tried sense. Last month I let them in my hay box with each other along with the third piggie, they were fine until I took them away from the hay. Should I try and bond them in the next couple months, the next year, or never? Btw my third piggie was bonded with the other pig who has been single for a month, but he kept jumping out cause that pig was picking fights. I can’t get anymore piggies so I have to do what I can to try and have a bonded pair. What should I do??
You should not try to bond them again, if they already fought with each other and drew blood. Do you have a guinea pig rescue in your area? They can help you with finding the best option for your pets and you. It is cruel to keep them single just for the sake of keeping them. So you might be faced with having some tough decisions. @@Shishiochan thx for the advice, no I do not have an adoption center near me, even if I did I can’t get another because of space. Two of the three are aggressive towards other piggies, I’ve tried with my non aggressive with the both of the others and both got into fights. I found fur when I was cleaning the old pairs cage and blood has been drawn. Keep in mind they are males and males 90% of the time will get aggressive (territorial) and ig I gotta live with three single piggies. They are perfectly fine alone if non get along btw. Thx anyways
@@osieprance I think there are solutions for you, but they require work and careful planning. I can understand your situation very well because I had a bonded boar pair fall apart and I had to work something hard to ensure they are healthy and happy. If you don't feel comfortable with rehoming the trouble makers, then you could consider building a cage tower like the rescue weecompanions uses. That way, you can have 3 cages big enough to house pairs and take up little space. All the best wishes!

How big cages do you recommend to different numbers that lives in the cages ? Both in cc, inch and centimeters please. I wondering how large my next cage should be. I am also wondering how to choice do or leave it when it comes to castration on guinea pigs.. I have two boys and two girls currently that I wish could go together, but the boys are not neutred and are born in 2021. Do you think it is safe to neutred the boys and put all four together ? I might later take over one or two more from a friend of mine. How good are the chances that two boys with multiple girls will stay friends and so ? How do I research what veterinarien that are allowed to neutred my piggies and what should I look for ?
I’ve been trying to bond my Guinea pigs, I got a new piggy bc my other one passed away at a young age and I felt that my current piggy was lonely without his brother. I got him a new brother that actually looks almost identical to his brother but they haven’t been getting along to well so they’ve been separated for almost a month now. Any tips? Would be helpful❤
