Bukubuku chagama is another guild mate of ainz. She’s a voice actor. She made aura and mare, hense his reaction when they talk about crossdressing, because that’s how she designed them. I’m pretty sure she would also have them sit on her lap often when they were still NPC’s so ainz let them do it. Also, I don’t know if you could tell, but ainz’s voice was a bit different because he and momon sound the same. So he’s disguising his voice

The two that went behind Ainz to save the children, you've sort of seen them before. You've seen Pestonya before, she's that dog maid that showed up in season 2. She's the one that cooked Aura a burger and said something about Tsuare and Sebas getting married. Nigredo was supposed to show up in season 1, but she didn't. She located Shalltear when she was brainwashed and is Albedo's older sister I think.

Here's some Infos for you (No spoiler) The two that went against Ainz's order were Pestonya and Nigredo. Pestonya is a Dog Maid that shows up serving Aura in the 1st episode of season 2 while Nigredo is Albedo's older sister who hasn't yet had screen time in the anime (Albedo has 2 sisters by the way. One older and one younger... Nigredo Albedo and Rubedo - Black White and Red). When It comes to the Nazarick NPCs, The will of their creators is the priority above everything else. Meaning... If Ainz happens to tell them to do something that directly goes against what their creator had programmed them to be, They might be reluctant to do or outright disobey. Because Pestonya and Nigredo were programmed to have compassion, They opposed the killing of innocent people kidnapped from the Re-Estize Kingdom and ended up being confined in the Frozen Prison because while Ainz forgives them, Albedo was outraged for their insubordination so Ainz sentenced them to house arrest until Albedo has a chance to calm down. While on the topic... You should know that among Nazarick NPCs, Pandora Actor is the only one who had the intellect that rivals Albedo and Demiurge. Not just that... He also probably is the one that is the most loyal and most likely the only one in Nazarick who really understands Ainz. The Nazarick's Guardians each have various personality quirks that are similar to their creators. So like Ainz, Pandora Actor is a lateral thinker who can see things from a variety of unusual perspectives... And thus he is quite good at picking up on things other fail to notice which make him one of the only NPCs that often question Ainz's orders not because he's disloyal but to understand what Ainz is thinking and what Ainz want to do (like they show in this episode) so Pandora Actor himself can carry out orders better. Since Pandora actor was created by Ainz himself, He has no bound to other guild members. That makes him answer only to Ainz... He literally is Ainz's son. And even though it embarrassed him, Ainz also somewhat sees him as one (kinda like having a son who's a weeb that's so hardcore to the point of cringe).

Ainz really told Pandora's Actor to go get some character development.

Additional details from the LN who has been skipped When the twins asked about the law "boys dress as girls and girls as boys" Ainz managed to changed their mind by saying "This style was made by your Creator (BukubukuChagama, who is also the sister of Peroroncino, creator of Shalltear) who wanted to make you UNIQUE. You are specials, do you you want other people to steal one of the things your Mom gave you ?". That was pretty effective. When Ainz arrived at the Guild, he saw Moknach (an Adventuer he met back in Season 1) and called him out, but he quickly realized his mistake ("Shit, Momon knows him but not Ainz !") The Adventurer was surprised/scared that the Sorcerer King knew about him and his name, so Ainz went "Well, of course, Momon told me all about the most promising adventurer of this city, you ! And I want your kind of people to stay here because you might have the potential to reach his level. And even if you don't, what about your children or grand-children ? I'm immortal so I definitely want to make sure that the next Momon is working for me". When the discussion ended, Moknack left very pleased. During the negociations, Ainz proposed to create special training grounds and even a dungeon. With magic it wouldn't be hard to make/heal people who trains, and they could use trash-undead that Nazarick always produce for training purposes. When Ainz was lead to the Guild Master, he was thinking "When I'm Momon we would discuss in his office, I suppose there's a wall between us here..." while staring at the office's door which made Ainzach uncomfortable for some reason. When Ainz got out, it is revealed to us that Theo, the Guildmaster of the Magician's guild of the city was there before Ainz (they have secret meetings every morning since Ainz took over) and hid in the Office when he arrived. He asked Ainzach "Do you think he noticed I was there ?" "Yeah, probably, he stared at the door for a moment when he arrived. I suppose that he knew you where here and also wanted you to hear that." Once again, Ainz appear WAY more competent, by accident. Theo noticed that Ainzach started the conversation by calling Ainz "Sorcerer King", but ended with by calling him "Your Majesty" .

Been waiting for the office scene since I read vol 10. A commenter on an earlier channel pointed out it is a voice bug so Ainz can change his voice when talking to people that may have heard Momon's voice. Bukubuku is the player that made Aura and Mare.

Yooo guys this was fantastic! A few things to clarify that they didn’t talk more about, Ainz-sama told Albedo to release Pestonya and Nigreto from there house arrest because they saved the children from death when he had told Demiurge to end there lives so they wouldn’t know the dispare of Nazarick, they were made that way to care for children. Pestonya is the Dogy made you saw in season 2 that served Aura her burger, and Nigreto has not been shown she is Albedo’s sister and she was the one that helped Ainz-sama back in the day in season 1 to search and find Shalltear when she was under the power of the world tier item, she looks exactly like Albedo except for one thing she has absolutely no skin. The second thing is when Aura and Mare want to have the boys and girls wear the opposite clothing is due to there creator BukunukuChagama-sama she is Ainz-sama’s (Momonga-sama’s) best friends sister Peroronchino-sama the creator of Shalltear. They don’t show it but Ainz-sama was able to make it so they thought that Bukubukuchagama-sama only wanted them to wear clothes that way, that they were special, and if they wanted that specialness given to others, they then declined because it was for them only, from there creator, to be dressed that way.

There's a brief mention in the novel, omitted in the anime, of how Satoru grew up without a father's love, which is one of the reasons he wants Aura and Mare to have parental figures.

at the end of the episode we get a nice clear goal and a simple explanation, we got a character who has a personal goal motivated he is menacing and drives the plot forward he is the perfect villain, but wait there is more he is also the perfect protagonist cos he is active pushes the plot forward doesnt whine and is respected by others ains is both the perfect hero and villain all in one

Pandora's Actor is one of my favorite NPC's in Overlord. He's the only one whose intellect can match Albedo and Demiurge. But, that kind of makes sense since he's a doppelganger that can transform into more than 40 different forms, each with their own unique move pool and battle style. So, you kinda have to be a genius in order to effectively use each of those forms in the heat of battle. Also, coding the NPC that looks after the treasury to be obsessed with magic items is genius. Fun fact about doppelgangers in Yggdrasil: Doppelganger have only 3 fingers while greater doppelgangers have 4.

Dr Carson was in charge of HUD. The appointment may not have been optimal, but having grown up in HUD properties, he had a desire to improve the lives of others in similar situations.

The invisible spiders are part of the assassin Corps that protects Ainz from any threat and some times they view Albedo as a "threat" because of how she acts.

Albedo has 2 sisters one younger one older, the older being nigredo she was mentioned in the ep though she was supposed to be introduced in season 2 locating where shalltear was, the younger one being rubedo can actually overwhelm and potentially kill ainz and touch me with full armor.

Ainz asked demiurge and albedo to check those paperworks before, so he is free to just approve them with no problem.

Overlord's strength as a show is its world building. So any setup that is interesting gets my hyped nd so far this episode is all buildup for where we're going next.

I love this arc. Everyone has all these secret schemes behind the scenes, and Ainz is unintentionally and unknowingly wrecking everything around him like a force of nature. God of Chaos.

S1 E1. Ains didn't even read Albedo background except for the last section.

He was remembering that his sheets had a nice smell and kind of seeing it as that smell is her or smells like her soething like that.

He switched books at the beginning because he doesn’t want the Maids or any Nazarick residents finding his book that he’s studying to learn to represent a true ruler for them. The invisible guards flashed for a moment after Ainz complimented Albedo because she was on the verge of sexually assaulting him again like she did in a previous season because she was so overwhelmed with lust for him. That previous time Mare had to pull Albedo off of Ainz and Albedo was confined for a bit. Ainz knows that Demiurge and Albedo are much smarter than him so he relies on them to set policy so he does tend to just rubber stamp anything they hand to him after a brief scan. He does choose one file each time to actually read

Albedo is a Genius when it comes to domestic affairs. So no, she isn't unqualified so more to that point she is actually perfect for the position. Its not explained but since they are still starting out and their policies aren't there yet. Eventually they do and as Ainz said to live in Re Estize is to live in harmony, and the one who create these policies is Albedo.

So at the start of this video you asked to hear our opinions between sub or dub, and my answer is long. Not because of strong feelings one way or the other but rather the opposite. tldr at the bottom I usually watch things subbed the first time I watch them then Dubbed for rewatches. Usually Sub is better than dub, but only because the biggest dubbing company sucks ass. GOOD dubs are as good as or sometimes even better than the sub. This (Overlord) is one of those cases, where the dub is actually really well done with some great voice actors nailing their roles and skilled translation making uses of the nuances of english language and culture. It doesn't help that the Sub version of this show has one of the more notorious slip ups in translation (Repeatedly refering "The Holy Empire" as "The Theocracy" which does mean the same thing but causes conflation with "The Slane Theocracy" which is a different nation) When it comes to reactions, 99% of the time I prefer the Dub. I don't want to be trying to read subtitles while paying attention to the reactors faces and how they react to the best and worst moments. But some shows have such bad Dubs that Sub is the only option, and some shows just don't translate well at all. MHA tried well for sure, but in some of the later seasons between all might's puns and Pony bilingual failures a lot is just lost. Somehow Overlord compensates for every linguistic difficulty anyway though even when the official sub got things wrong. Seriously, overlord has to be one of the best dubs out there. The last factor is that I like to multitask. I'll watch things at work, or while I am cooking and cleaning or while I am gaming and I can't do that if I am trying to multitask. So at the end of the day I end up watching more Dubbed anime rewatches than I watch subbed. Unfortunately EVERYONE HAS A GO AT REACTORS FOR WATCHING DUBBED SO HARDLY ANYONE WATCHES DUBBED AND THEN IT IS HARDER FOR ME TO MAKE TIME TO WATCH IT! That annoys me. Let some reactors watch it dubbed, and give me something I can watch while I make my ****ing dinner! There are plenty watching subbed already, stop having a go at every single one that doesn't! TL:DR - It is varied, nuanced and contextual, also VIEWERS PLEASE STOP TELLING REACTORS THEY HAVE TO WATCH SUBBED, you're taking content away from a niche that wants dub reactions.
