They look cool, but if I had one, I would make it look more realistic, I would have a figure in the cockpit sporting a material race suit with a steering wheel and little sticker gauges. Kind of like they do with RC planes.
For me it's about mastering the mechanics to make the fastest machine possible. I love the challenge of making sure the clutch, carb tune, and fuel mixture is 100% correct to make the fastest pass. I know electrics are way faster but it's the challenge of gas cars for me. Plus I love the sound and smell of a combustion engines.
