Watching your enthusiasm for this character was enlightening. For a company that makes countless amounts of skrilla making tanks and other vehicles, it is too bad the ML brand manager doesn't know their contact info. The minute Bonebreaker turns over his engine he will burn spontaneously because the engine is backwards.
Totally agreed. The engine position is weird. Unfortunately we cannot assemble in the opposite way as the pieces doesn't assemble right. Anyway, it's a great figure.
Ah yeah you’re right and forgot to point that out. I guess their logic was “He’s a cyborg so he won’t burn like a regular human.” Don’t know if that’s true but regardless, it’s still backwards and it won’t connect properly with turning it the other way. That falls on both Lead designer and brand manager.
All I can picture is Wolverine being crucified. “Listen here bub…I got one question before I die.” “What is that Gaijin?” Motions to Bonebreaker “How does he poop?” “Why does everyone always ask that?!”
Can't wait to finish building this guy!! Yes he is an awesome baf!! One of the best ones hasbro has made!! Love this wave jus gotta get Darwin and maggot to finish this baf!! Great review!! Hope hasbro does more of these type of bafs down the line!!
Great review, and I love the BAF. Although you missed 2 huge pieces of Bonebreaker and the Reavers origin. They first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #133. Part of the legendary Dark Pheonix saga. The original Hellfire Club story where Wolverine fights alone through the sewers and basements. The men that will become the Reavers are the unnamed Hellfire club guards that Wolverine carves his way through. Donald Pierce will save them and use them as his special team of Cyborg goons. We see them next as Cyborgs but more human looking ones, in the original New Mutants Graphic Novel. They are wearing red color swapped versions of their Hellfire Club Uniforms. Dani Moonstar defeats them by pulling the horror of their mauling by Wolverine from their minds. The later Outback Era issues is just the first time they are individually named.
I’m hoping for more Reavers!!! I got Sabretooth, Syrin and Maggot! I put Havok and Vulcan on my birthday list! This figure looks so awesome!!! I’ll have so much fun for sure!
i put mine together 2 weeks ago my last figure i needed was sabertooth got lucky and found him at toys r us to make this figure a 10 i wish the do a straight face maybe i'll find another swap bulleye maybe i don't know make a custom mohawk other than that yes great baf well worth buying all the figures in the wave great review more reavers please
Dang Manny, Bonebreaker looks threatening and badass but to me, I don't have any room to put him with Lady Deathstrike, Skullbuster, and Murray Reese, But still he will go great with the Reavers team.
All these bigger X-men villains are building up! I won’t have enough room for the select Apocalypse and Mojo lol. I’m getting the select Apocalypse because I think he looks dope! Also, what do you think of the new Venom reveal for the three pack with Riot and Agony?
Xmanny, I think that this just might be your BEST review of a Legends wave EVER!! So many Uncanny Xmanny Story Times!! Such creativity, that I've learned come standard with your episodes (e.g, creating a random Morlock from the MCU's Bro Thor and Darwin's head and hands)!! Lots of your ever-present humor (e.g., "Let's raise this gun to make him Boner-Breaker)!! Your amazing photography (which is always a mini Story Time on its own)!!! If I never get to see another Legends Wave Review from you, I can die happy!!
Cool review. If it wasn't for this BAF l would've skipped out on this wave except for a couple of characters. This is definitely where the BAF sucked me in.
Dope collection and reviews Bro. Dope BAF too. Still waiting on mine but I'm noticing everyone putting the exhaust on backwards. I'm a stickler for my wheels like we all are for our Legends lol. I just want everybody's Bonebreaker to be on point for their displays lol no shade Bro #SALUTE
@@Xmanny87 Actually, it probably wouldn't be super difficult to change & fix that issue. I don't have those particular parts yet (Thanks, HASBRO, for your $#!tty distribution practices!!!), BUT it looks like you could simply notch out the opposite side and just flip the engine around... OR remove the notch peg from the engine itself. Although, if you go THAT route, there's the risk of it fitting too loose and rattling around (but there again, even THAT could be resolved with a smidge of sticky tack...) Just something to consider.
Yeah that sucks. I had to go look at the SDCC booth to see if they fudged it on the display floor, but it's on there with the exhaust facing the back. Can't wait to see what X-men team Hasbro starts before they finish this one😒😅, Maybe we see some of our first Acolytes or Nasty Boys...Possibly More Marauders🤔...Keep doin what you do tho Bro 💯 🤝🏽....& PppS....Tell @Talkerart's clout chasing ass to keep you and the rest of the good guys name out his mouth, he's still NOT getting a sample or mention 😂🤣😂Dan said what he said 😭🤣😂
@@charlescopeland8114 It's on there facing back, like it SHOULD have been, BUT it wasn't closed up properly, there was a gap. They did that because they didn't want to be mocked as dumb@$$#$ for having designed it @$$backwards, since by THAT time, it had ALREADY been pointed out to them a few times... So, even though it didn't fit together properly, they flipped it and hoped no one noticed the gap... Because they half-@$$#d the fix!!!🙄🙄🙄😑😑
I have to say that the Bonebreaker wave is my favorite song far. Bonebreaker himself is one the best BAFs yet. And x-cellent review as always, Manny. ✌🏻✌🏻👊🏻
Nooooo! Really? That sucks man! I feel for you. Mine would only pop if I crunch the abs over to much with hard pressure. But other than that, luckily mine functions fine. May just need a new waist piece that attaches to the chassis. Your joint may be too wide.
@@Xmanny87 I tried to fix it but was not successful, well....just have to press down when I pose him. At least it is not broken, I can easily pop it back on
I’ve never seen a headsculpt that looks this happy before.. For me, it hurts the overall aesthetic of the figure. I was looking forward to this character but I am not getting because of that stupid grin across his face.
