First, your challenge was vulgar and unnecessary. Does all public discourse have to be savage. I was going to tell you to check our Michael Lington, and Richard Elliot. And apparently you know nothing of Basin street jazz, or fusion jazz, Ronnie Laws, Jeff Lorber. And while BJ is excellent, the late Grover Washington would be hard to beat !

I am familiar with all of them and the fact that you are comparing pianist to saxophonist shows how ignorant you are and you clearly did not comprehend my post. I am a musician of decades and I am familiar with jazz that goes back to the 1920s so spare me your narcissism. If you disagree with my comment than that's your distorted opinion. If you are offended by my comment than it means the truth is offensive. The next time you want to start a debate make sure you're comparing apples to apples instead of oranges to coconuts that way you won't stick your foot in your mouth.

Boney James is great, but there’s *many* other fantastic contemporary jazz musicians out there
