Bongani has the experience and political acumen to do well in the public service his record is impeccable whilst being the youngest mayor under the DA in Midvaal i have witnessed and experienced his effective and efficient governance at face value as a resident in Meyerton at Henley on klip till today the systems he put in place are testament to his efficiency i wish him well in pursuant of a political home which will embrace his experience and expertise!!!
I saw his interview on SMWX RU-vid. He painted a picture that I thought to myself, "You are in the wrong team" it's a pity we don't get to see young leaders flourish. Lindiwe Mazibuko, Mmusi Maimane, Mandisa Mashego (even though I think her feminism is poison), Vuyiswa Tulelo, now Bongani or perhaps they are some of best I've seen.
I'll wait for ActionSA to respond. I must say, with all due respect to Bongani, Herman Mashaba will win with huge numbers without solid structures. We support ActionSA, however it has to relook the democratic processes.
I'm don't think I'll cast a vote for ActionSA anymore. I'm not sure if I should hold on to my membership or not. Mashaba might be exactly what many say Julius is, and that's something I'm not comfortable with. We can't play personality politics at a very critical time like this one.
The views are inspirational, I just wish the best of South African leaders could work together to overthrow the ANC, it's not about "my party", it's about liberating SA.

I'm puzzled by his irritation with centralised decision-making as ActionSA is actually doing exactly what DA is still doing today. He has given credit to himself by his "I" statements. Sometimes, we overestimate ourselves..this is not Midvaal, but a National, fastest growing organisation in South Africa. it's amazing because two months ago we were talking about this with some of my friends. we could sense the insecurity from Ndate Mashaba but I didn't expect to happen so quick
So if you don’t get position you decide to move out? When demoted you move out. You are going to be known as soon party hopper. Mashaba can not just distrust you. It may be in relation to what you have been saying to people on the ground. Clearly you must have been speaking about the leaders weakness and how knowledgeable you are. You subconsciously saw yourself as a leader and started to lead, that’s why Mashaba was not happy about you.
Baloyi. Action SA is new, small and still a growing political party. It's too early demanding power to be decentralized. It can only ferment chaos and instability. As a progressive leader that you see yourself, you should have been persuaded to take the offer and became the National Party Spokesman until further notice.

I wish as voters, as ordinary S.Africans can learn something from leaders who exit when their aspirations are not longer served...we need to vote as these leaders move...this thing of 1 party all your life is definitely a disservice to ourselves

I was a Deputy Mayor under Aljamah Party since 2021 in my Municipality in Harding Kzn When they compelled me to work with the ANC I resigned without any hesitation and regret How can I take People's votes and trust on me and use it like a toilet paper to wipe the filthy Bums of the corrupt ANC Never I resigned

Bongani seems to be a smart guy and should not be lost to politics, neither (heaven forbid) should he start another party. Ego's should be set aside and he rejoin the DA, without demanding a snr position.
Mashaba cannot lead any political party, he is not a bright mind when it comes to politics, he can run an administration with his business skills, however, he is totally a mess when it comes to running party, what more in running a country.

Im sorry, but all and any interview that I see of Mr Mashaba shows how insecure and unshure he is of himself. He doesnt articulate clearly and can never give solid policy drivin answers to the questions posed to him. Im sorry but SA needs an extremely strong leader. Herman is not that man.
Mashaba is not very fluent in English. He turns to use words very irresponsibly. I wouldn't be surprised if he probably wanted to say something different...
I mean… maybe its just you baloyi maybe its just you- maybe being parachuted into high position because of your skin color has left you with unrealistic life expectations
