Yes, There are departments who handles different concerns in the company but General Manager should know everything what is going on and MUST be updated of everything that is happening under his umbrella and cases like this, GENERAL MANAGER should have a huge role, MUST make sure that everything happens accordingly. He said, his role is to make sure that the operation is smoothly happening, then you must be demoted as operational manager. and just for specific department only because for sure you can't handle the whole company for you are incompetent!

That's a very interesting video! The question is, why is Jose Angel Honrado goes unpunished to this day during Duterte's administration? How did he escape punishment just like the big fish like Arroyo, Estrada or Marcos if Duterte is angry with corruption? Why is Francis Tolentino who staged the LP scandal seems to be one of Duterte's best and the brightest and now his political adviser. If airports are receiving billions, why are the chairs at the gates (boarding areas) very stained? If the airport just employ two to three cleaners to check all the chairs at the gates daily, these chairs should be clean. They are currently not fit to be used by passengers. The airport managers should know that passengers travel from one country to another. These chairs look that dirty, it would be possible to assume they are contaminated by germs which could infect travellers. Honrado does not seem to care enough to do his rounds at least once a month to check that the health and safety officers are doing their work.
