Kristina: You are an awesome writer, storyteller and professional editor! I was once a television news photographer/videographer/editor, then video production business owner...now retired, and sailing on a 2018 Beneteau Oceanis 38.1... I really enjoy watching your productions. You guys are very good at what you're doing. Fortunate people. Thanks for all the entertainment. Enjoy the channel guys! WELL done.
So happy someone finally mentionning bonifacio. I live here, i'm glad you enjoyed it. Next time you come tell me i will bring you to my place on the edge of the cliff (one of the houses on the edge) !
Bonifacio and Corsica is amazing. Roadtripped the island for a week about 5 years ago and it's so much beautiful nature and picturesque villages. Def. one of my favourite places!
KC, as much travel as you’ve done in your life, your awe at discovering Bonafacio is inspirational. I hope to replicate it this summer on my trip to Sicily, Tuscany, Provence and Belgium.
@@KristinasTravels Nope, but it’s definitely now on the list! Looking forward to seeing where else you head. Have loved watching your travels with the Jeanneau.
@@KristinasTravels Dubai and Abu Dhabi - though am home now in Marbella on a cold wet Mediterranean winters day. Your video brought warmth and a reminder to maximize the opportunity that each summer brings.
Great to have you back! Bonifacio is absolutely stunning, and it's so nostalgic, isn't it? I believe I spotted Tavolara Island in the preview... I trust you had an incredible dinner at Da Tonino, it's a must for sailors when in the area! ;) 😉 🤐😃.
I had to post again to compliment you. Your quality of video, the angles, the various views, you're perfectly executed voice-overs, all of it it's just perfect. You are so good at this! Thank you.
Wow, thanks! Yeh, it was a massive hit to the hip pocket - but well worth it for the experience of a lifetime. Our BEST boating/marina experience yet! 🤩 Chaos, wild, but what a view!
Awesome content! Well done on many levels. Beautiful place and boats and people. And Kristina, your make-up toward the end of the video was right on point! Your best vid yet.
Hey Jim!! Thanks so much 🥹🥹 so nice to hear your kind words! Yessss, my makeup was alright wasn’t it! 😂🤣 I think it’s the brows! 🤩 cheers for the compliment - I’ll take it after an 8 hour editing session! 🤗 Legend!
I have seen this city numerous times on other sailing and some non-sailing RU-vid channels. But yours, by far, is the best representation of this city. I was so excited to see that you were going to the city because I knew you were the absolute perfect person to document this city.
I’m from Sydney, living in country Victoria atm. Yes I’ve been to some of the places you’ve traveled and the goal is to one day live in Italy 🇮🇹 hence why I love your channel. It’s a manifestation tool 🌟
My wife and I visited there 10 years ago. What a spectacular place. I hope to go back. We ended up taking a taxi to the west side of the island and found another very cool spot. Enjoy!
Bonifacio is the most spectacular harbour I know ! I have been there 20 years ago . Our boat was docked 12 m beside the next icecream pub ! The sun rise was the best at all .
Hey, Nice to see you back on. I think Jeanneau will be doing a few modifications to their table! Such a cool place to be moored! And the town , magnificent! John is adding a lot of dimension to the yachting tale as well. Nice to see. Howzit John. Beats Flying?
I was so happy to see a new video uploaded from you guys I was beginning to think something had happened to the three of you because it's been so long😊😊
@@KristinasTravels Hey, Yer I have heard / seen it before. However only recently when M/V Loon was docking there. Thought it was so beautiful that I dug a little deeper online. So glad you guys are showing us around as well.
Glad to hear. We had a great trip to the whitsundays over Xmas. Bit of an incident coming home but were all ok 😊. Hope you and John are doing really well. So happy you guys are back!
Amazing content as usual. Can see how much effort you put into this on both sides of the camera. Think I'm going to save up a bit longer and go for a 55, what a great boat.
All great sailing and shore fun.. For your size boat it's not far to Croatia where the ports and food are just as good and the prices are at least 50% less. We have a little Oceanis 34 based in Slovenia but you don't have to this far up the Adriatic to save and enjoy! If you do come this far you get to go to Venice!
Katrina, the Motor Yacht Loom visited last year…it was amazing seeing them dock as well as loon is huge…you all did a great job docking in there it’s so tiny..loved the episode
Love your outfits Kristina! An added bonus to your awesome videos! You totally pulled off the red zebra dress in Bonifacio. Yes, heard of it, been there, also had adventures while trying to anchor stern to in a semi tight space (not the marina, there is a nook on the left when you come in) and got our line caught in the prop... But all ended well. Next time you should check out the Maddalena Islands of Sardinia. They look like you are in the Seychelles. Edit: Should have watched to the end, you did go to the Maddelenas! 😂 And yes, the Carabinieri did come and kick us off one of the anchorages.
Hello Sailer's 😊 Kristina you look stunning in your new dress ❤ loved to watch how you park your boat, Love City tour and it's vibe❤ Italy is very Amazing place to visit, excited for your next trip. Wishing you all Good wishes for your upcoming Trip ❤
Thank you so much Dennis!! You legend!! I see you, and thank you for not only your contribution, but being part of something special!! We appreciate you! Kristina x
Guys, this is how many marinas/harbours in old Europe are , built for 40 footers struggling to accommodate 50+ ones e.g. in Italy, Croatia. Moreover in Greece you often have to use your anchor instead of mooring line, and yes often in 20 kts. I've had many sleepless nights watching for anchor slip in 20+ kts blow and seen disastrous scenes too...
Thank you for sharing these beautiful impressions of your sailing trip. Just amazing! Just a stupid question: What app you were using for navigation on your iPhone?
@Kristina's Travels Could you compare the two boats highlight any differences in their lifestyle and seakindness, and suggest any areas for improvement?
Fantastic episode, happy to wait for it. The sensory overload after hearing nothing but the ocean and your own voices must of been crazy. Looking forward to the next episode. If you can afford 600k a week to hire the super yacht 3k for a night is a drop in the ocean
That’s funny 😂 great video Kristina and co. Stress out getting into the marina then Wilding’s yacht, RESILIENCE pulled in and I suppose everyone googled the RESILIENCE to see who owned it. Geoff Wilding’s net worth is estimated at $500 million, with his ownership of approximately 30% of Victoria’s shares being a significant contributor to his wealth. That’s one very successful man. Un like Australia In Europe you just don’t buy any old carpet.😂 Your adventures are truly a joy to watch! ❤ Have you seen Brisbane, John’s a card.😂 That’s where you bought that dress in the Valley 😂
A most fabulous episode guys ‼️ 🎉 💕 ✨ What an exciting marina. To quote, John,..........insane ‼️🙌🏻 And, Kristina, your red dress out on the town on the first day...........can't remember you looking any more beautiful. Radient glow, the biggest smile, and that outfit flowing in the wind. You and John are a very cute couple. Don't know much of your girl-friend,yet she seems fun as well. Great channel 🎉🙌🏻 See you next time. ✨ 🌊 💨 ⛵️ 🏝️ 👙 🌞 ✨
Hi Joe, thanks for checking in! Such an exciting marina - all systems go with a touch of adrenaline! Thank you for your kind words and lovely compliments :) Can't wait for Italy next. See you for the next episode x
John, so that channel/cove is about 425 feet at widest point and narrows down to 100 feet where that parking peer juts in. Kristina, me not usually one to comment on clothing, or fashion type things, nevertheless, Yes Ma'am, that outfit was [IT] dear👍🏻⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Kelly, seems you have become permanent crew aye? So great to see you, anytime all the time👍🏻💙... God Bless with hugs and love all🙏🏻⛵🐬...
Hey Richard! Yeh, it was pretty damn narrow alright haha 🫣🤓 thank you, I felt like a princess wearing my $12 bargain!! Not sure when I’ll have the opportunity to wear it again? It was the perfect Bonifacio number! Yes, Kelly is joining us for our Euro series. It was a competition we ran on Instagram, and she won, so it’s an awesome opportunity to share this incredible experience with a follower 🙏 Lots of love, Kristina x
Hi, Great Video as always !! Question : i think i recognize Claudio from a motorcyvcle Show Calle Long way round, Agnes age. Can That be? But anyway pls keep the Videos coming, very inspiring. Reg Peter
Short comment, the courtesy flag is in Europe always underneath the starboard spreader. Thank you for spending that ridiculous harbour fee. Respect for your mooring there!
Thank you! We have never had to worry about courtesy flags in Australia! So this is all new to us :) Yes.. eye watering, but glad to have shared the eye-opening experience with you John! More to come..
Ooh K (and I fear J also) I hope that you are both looking after yourselves better. Please understand that folks follow your personalities first and foremost, the geography does the rest...
@@KristinasTravels Just go and see on YT for Bay of Kotor, Budva, Perast...marina porto Montenegro. Dubrovnik(Croatia) is like 1 hour sailng from us. See videos and I think you would came
