I can't watch this without getting emotional. This was the most incredible moment in live music I've ever seen. It was incredible. The energy in the crowd was unlike anything I've ever felt at any festival, stadium, or theater in 20+ years of seeing live music. With Michael Houser's health steadily declining we all knew that the end was near. Emotions were already high, so when ya'll came out and sat it on the best Tall Boy in history it brought me to tears, and instantly became the highlight of my festival that I still very much connect to to this day. Im going to watch it 2 or 3 more times and go about my day. I wish you all well. Love long and prosper.
Almost 22 years ago, church broke out in a dusty, hot ass field in the middle of rural Tennessee. No one there was the same the next morning. Dottie and panic summoned exactly what they wanted. I’ve never felt anything like it before or since.
I was there ,not far from the front . I stood in the heat all day for this. There were a lot of tears and a lot of hugs that night . A lot of summoning of the HG. We tried so hard! I started crying at some point at that show ,and some sweet guy picked me up and and hugged me and swung me around. I miss those times and those people.
One of the most unbelievable experiences in live music ever...the first Bonaroo was awesome. This was the highlight. The whole weekend was spiritual and this welcomed the holy ghost to the proceedings.
it makes me cry actually. Mikey was dying and was less than a month away from playing his last show. the wheels were coming off but what a performance!
God was in the air. The spirit of the world was present. We were there. The stars were all in line. The universe was moved and panic levitated us all. Testify! Cheers!! Miss ya Mikey.
This was one of the best nights of my life. I remember this performance like it was last night. I was very close to the front. Then, after the set ended the crew handed trash bags out, asked us to pass them back through the crowd and to clean up after ourselves. And we did. And it was such a nice, happy place to be Ahh, memories.
Present and taped dat fob center stage..... RIP Mikey and Todd.... oh, so many stories and friends met during my 30 year run with Panic... 1st show The Grove '90 Ole Miss.... I went to college there with George McConnell and JoJo back in the 80's.... awesome times... Peace, Love and Panic 🖖
In the morning the world was not the same, has not been the same for me since. A life changing event for me that I will carry with me til the day they put me six feet under!!! Somebody outta testify!!!!
@@maxreed4010 me too... awesome human being... talked with Mikey a few times at Pelham and Amsterdam few other.... Sweet soul... very kind polite gentleman 🖖
One of the most amazing moments at one of the most amazing weekends of my life! 20 years old and not a care in the world surrounded by amazing people and out of this world music non-stop for 4 days. When it was all over I was exhausted and all around a changed man for the BETTER. Thank the good Lord for Widespread Panic and everyone that rocked that festival. There's never been another Bonnaroo that held a candle to that one.
I was 15!! It was an amazing weekend. 19hrs in line only to set up the tents as the sun was rising, I almost got skewered through the skull during that wind tornado, and when we left we went to ruby falls (the underground waterfall) and I was like- it smells like butt in here! Then I realized nobody was standing near us... WE were the butt!! 😂😂 I wouldn't trade that weekend for anything!
I wish this is how God's children would get along on the daily... making music, mixing styles and harmonies to produce such incredible sounds and feelings and spirit, beyond what one group can produce alone.
RIP BRANDON WOLFE!!!!! YEEAAAHHHH DOOGGGGG!!!!!! Last Panic Show, we love and miss you! If anyone's ever done it larger than life, YOU DID!!! Everyone in KPT still feels you watching over us. May be gone but never forgotten!
My literal first full fledged experience with the real holy ghost guys I'll remember it on my death bed maybe it was the comforting look on my brother's face as he himself stood in the face of death and let fly with some really real energy that brings me to my knees every time I hear it those that know me know what happened and for JB and the boys hear and gone ,and sister Dottie and her clan thank you so much epic historic top five greatest experiences of my life that night.
oh man i miss mikey. he looked so frail there. only had 2 more months of life left. glad i got to see him there one more time. i still tear up a bit listening to vacation.
I'll add Holocaust, Sandy Hook, et. al. thewalker34. You are a rational person observing years of data. Do what you can while we're here. Life is sometimes good and sometimes not. This video is good stuff, so let's enjoy and hear Mikey and WSP. As for me, I'm grabbin' a Tall Boy!
