I can’t believe that Mr. Bauer treated Melanie like that when others wore the same thing. I mean, I wasn’t there because I don’t have that lunch I have the other one, but I think Mr. Bauer did the wrong thing and his consequence was the right thing.
no one would want to go to a school from 7:45 am to 2:45 pm with that man working there. you silly goose. cause clearly with this racist remark he said he most definitely isn’t the best man a person would want to be around. especially because he is supposed to make school a safe welcoming environment which is the exact opposite of what he did. it’s really sad and embarrassing that through this whole story you worry about when i arrived at school but my assistant principal didn’t even care. he just cared about my outfit and my outfit only. even tho there were girls with booty shorts and tank tops on. my outfit was the absolute worst it could get. i really appreciate you caring so so much about what time i arrived at school tho! very necessary😉
So all we got to do is ask one question is her clothes in violation of their dress code if you can answer yes then nothing else matters if you can answer no then it does plain and simple people anybody and I mean anybody who brings skin color into an equation of a situation is a racist I don't care if you're white black green orange purple if you bring skin color in as a possible reason or a possible solution you are a racist so this girl who is bringing this up is a racist I seen the clothes she was wearing I would not let my daughter go to school that should be a violation of dress code hopefully it is and hopefully she gets expelled for being a racist and trying to get this man's job to confirm him
not even close to the point “ booby james🤓” all of the other white females wearing booty shorts and cargo pants were not dress coded while me wearing a shirt and cargo pants was dress coded. that’s was the first time of the day i had seen that man and he had seen these girls all day. then he had told me he didn’t want to dress code them only me. not the first problem i’ve had with this man. once again you’re another person who has gone through little to nothing. (since we are making assumptions) so once you have gone through a similar task in like it’s gonna be really embarrassing. cause i’m sure since you aren’t even brave enough to be anything but anonymous you wouldn’t have the guts to speak up to anyone. i feel very sorry for you🙁🙁
and from these little remarks you’re making about my situation (me being a stranger and a strangers child) i can’t imagine how you treat your poor daughter. not only sad for you…but extremely sad for her. i think you guys both need a hug at this point
I see you missed the entire point of the story as well Bobby. Regardless of if she violated dress code or not, he singled her out because of her skin color. Also, your opinions on what you would and would not allow your child to wear to school are not required here. If you can not understand why this girl is upset, you do not need to comment here. showed up to school in an outfit more modest then almost all of the white girls there. was dress coded even though there was girls wearing booty and tank tops. told him if he’s going to dress code me for cargo pants and a shirt he better dress code the girls in booty shorts and tank tops. he said he didn’t care what they were wearing and only wanted to dresscode me. i asked if he was doing it because i was brown. brown white man says yes. idk who you think you are making this assumptions when you were not a witness. you heard a 2 minute and 22 second news video.

Have you ever been accused of being a racist (“is it because I am brown”)? How did you respond in the moment? Especially if you feel you are justified in what you are doing (following through on a dress code violation).

well “Gomer” as someone Who was there and witnessed the whole thing, Melanie wasn’t making a comedic intended comment she was asking a genuine question…. let me know if you can think of any other reason why he would single her out when there were two little white girls sitting in front of us wearing spaghetti strap tank tops and shorts.

I have seen quite a few white girls wearing the Bonneville clothes of shame for dress code violations. But it is hard to trust that when you asked him if it is “because you are brown” was just a simple question from you. It feels like baiting the situation. You have used the line too much in the past. I’m sure this fleeting story gives Melanie the attention she is seeking that she sadly doesn’t receive elsewhere. As her mother says, “words hurt,” but guarantee, the broken home that was forced upon her hurts much worse. Melanie is a beautiful and smart girl, but she would be better served to concentrate on her studies and not go down this silly road.
