Imagine the show if Bonnie was the main character. That would have been FIYAH!!!! A witch coming into her own and being descended from the most powerful witch family in the TVD world. I almost want to rewrite the series and just make her the main and have all the guys desire her. All the guy actors wanted their characters to be with Bonnie. And what if the witches were descended from gods? I'm shrieking inside myself while I maintain a calm exterior.

It's also weird that she had all this incredible power but most times she played defensively, not wanting to kill. The only times she was offensive with her magic instead of defensive was when she killed Kai with the Axe, and when she forced Damon to feel everything that Kai put her through in the prison world. Even when she was breaking bones with her magic, she never broke necks, always just limbs.

This may sound hella biased but tbh if Kat Graham was fairly treated so Julie wrote the script less token black friend or Last Resort save, Bonnie honestly would be the strongest witch/being she has shown so many different types of magic and the most growth, yes Bonnies character was poorly wrote and they poorly treated Kat, Kat still owned that character giving it full potential as well Bonnie still being in the top 5 strongest witches without fair treatment and I have so much more to say she practically beat the devil, pushed hell fire back technically by herself, resurrected people 5+ survived Depression and Terrible abuse, almost killed two original vampires, while also had the capability to channel 100 witches and manage expression as long as she did.Bonnie is one of the only psychics that are truly psychic in her way she opened A whole new dimension just with sadness. Bonnie is also in the debatably strongest bloodline of witches. Bonnie has done so much more things but at the end of the day Kat worked her ass off and Bonnie will always be my favorite character just because how well Kat showcased her.

They could have done so much more with her character. She could have been so powerful.

She had so much potential they completely purposely ruined her character. Bonnie was beyond mystic falls I feel she would have fit better in the originals even though they would have probably done the same thing with her storyline having all that witchcraft in new Orleans would have helped. Also she could have met the out witches in new Orleans it would have been so much better

They didn't have to take her magic away as often as they did...She could have kept her Expression magic and just not use as often because she didn't want to lose her humanity. Also I wish they'd given her a power upgrade in the end where her magic was concerned, make her the only witch who can channel psychic energy into power for her spells and what not...

The best thing about "The Vampire Diaries" is that they made the supernatural creatures look more realistic like if a witch uses too much lower she will die or the part where they bleed from nose is actually realistic because it's true that if a witch pushes magic too hard the magic will Push back with equal or more force resulting a witch to die or get severally injured .
