Thank you very much Rick and Bonnie for this interview. It cleared up even more from what I learned in Bonnie's books. Your work is much appreciated. Both of you.

Had a K experience in childhood ( they thought I was having seizures which were ruled out medically) and it came back again in adulthood. But this time it guided me to identify it and embrace it. It has changed my outlook and inner self as well. I'm anti -guru and do not feel comfortable with rituals. This interview has been helpful since it has confirmed gut feelings. Thanks

Bonnie was such a big help to me when the energy opened up, my zen teachers had no idea what I was talking about (despite all the statues with 3rd eyes), so talking with Bonnie was reassuring to the small self, despite that the self had essentially given up the self already anyway and therefore there are not problems in the normal sense.

Good interview - focussed on Kundalini and Kundalini only.

Kundalini - do you know this? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chhinnamasta ... The Chhinnamasta icon is also understood as a representation of the awakening of the kundalini - spiritual energy. The copulating couple represent the awakening in the Muladhara chakra, which corresponds to the last bone in the spinal cord. The kundalini flows through the central passage in the body - the Sushumna nadi and hitting the topmost chakra, the Sahasrara at the top of head - with such force that it blows her head out. The blood spilling from the throat applies the upward-flowing kundalini, breaking all knots (granthis) - which make a person sad, ignorant and weak - of the chakras. The severed head is "transcendent consciousness". The three blood streams is the flow of nectar when the kundalini unites with Shiva, who resides in the Sahasrara. Another interpretation associates Daknini, Varnini and Chhinnamasta with the three main subtle channels (nadis): Ida, Pingala and Sushumna flowing free.[39][40][41] Sushumna connects the Muladhara and Sahasrara and is cognate with the spinal cord. Ida courses from the right testicle to the left nostril and is linked to the cooling lunar energy and the right hand side of the brain. Pingala courses from the left testicle to the right nostril and is associated with the hot solar energy and the left hand side of the brain. The self-decapitation also represents removal of false notions, ignorance and egoism. The ability to remain alive despite the beheading is associated to supernatural powers and awakening of the kundalini.[42] The triad of the goddess and the two yoginis is also philosophically cognate to the triad of patterns, "which creative energy is felt to adopt".[20] ...

A *1.5 on the new -3 to +3 scale. Disclaimers at the end of the comment.* *A very nice and useful interview with a very nice interviewee !* Some subtractions for not revealing much about her own awakening experiences and how she experiences the world now. Perhaps another interview with her focusing on just that ? Doesn't have to be a long one, only 10 minutes would be fine with me ;) _About the rating: anything below and including 0 means by and large a waste of time, and anything below 0 is not only worthless but damaging to the world. For comparison, on that scale, Francis Bennett would be a +2 or more and Harri Aalto would be roughly a tentative +2 to +2.5. Not coming up with original, independent cosmological insights bans any interviewee from > 2.0 ratings as a matter of principle._ *General Disclaimer:* the rating _pertains to an interview, not to the interviewee_. If the rating is high it means merely and exclusively that I consider the interview to be of high value relative to the stated purpose of the channel, and that it is therefore no waste of time to listen to the interview. It would _not_ imply that whatever the interviewee speaks is the truth (as if I was the arbiter over that) or that you should follow him/her or accept whatever that person offers. _That is particularly in need of emphasis if that would be an expensive enterprise_ !

If a person thinks that God is all, but the whole world is vile, he does not worship God, for God is all and God is beautiful. 'God is beautiful and he loves beauty,' the Prophet said. And as His being is in us, we are supposed to love beauty also. What is beauty? Not only the external beauty, but the beauty of personality, the beauty of character, that is the real beauty. If we did not worship it, we should not admire it in other people. We cannot appreciate anything without beauty of character. -H.I.K.

Rick and a simple incorrect ''scientific'' analogy. 50:56 --- Rick: '' It's like, you know, you have a radio and you pull a few tubes out of something, it's not gonna work very well. You want the radio to be nicely tune up and then it gets a clear signal.'' --- Bonnie: '' You know, I really agree...'' Analogies vs science: Your scientific analogy is not working very well. Here, Rick is not going in the scientific quantum physics analogy realm but instead going back in the old tube technology! Even doing so, the analogy does not work anyway! If you pull out only one tube, the receiver is not going to transduce ( transformation of one type of energy into another, in this case, electromagnetism signal into electrical circuit into mechanical speaker ) any signal to the speaker! Eventhough parts of the circuit has some voltage... If you want to make sure you receive a weak or distant signal, better get a more powerfull receiver, a bigger antenna... Also, the sender of the kundalini has to have a powerfull transmitter. In this analogy, Who or what is the sender/transmitter? Where is it located so that we can direct the antenna in the best possible direction? On what frequency should we tune in? Try and error? Move your antenna tenth of a degree this way, then try all the frequencies available on your receiver... Move your antenna again... And again... And if you're trying long enough or two people experimenting at the same time on the same apparatus, impatience... The two people might get angry at each other... or at oneself... Then you get a signal, very loud... And after years of listening to that channel, you get bored or you realise it's the wrong message! And you're not inspired anymore to go through that try and error thing... And if you are, hoping someday to receive the right message... Or the right energy/frequency, then you have yourself, not the apparatus, to transduce it in a proper audible... Thank you for sharing your experiences.

A 'non-dual teacher in the lineage of Adyashanti' (LoL) and holding a Phd (LoL) from something called 'the Institude of Transpersonal Psychology', huh.....Lawks!......But, this IS America, y'understand. Sounds like she is trying to talk common sense about something that's essentially barking mad. Unfortunately,however: "No man can serve two masters..". As someone once so rightly observed. Whatever you do, don't give her 100 dollars!

tim13354 She is actually talking very practically and helpfully about phenomena which are very common and real ( boy, can I vouch for that!) in the process of facing all the conditioning which has been phisically stored in a human body which went through years of socialization and all the repression that comes with it. It is an inescapable part of liberation, I feel, and a very humbling part, too.

Inês Cruz Not at all. Some people never experience it (except perhaps as some release of contraction). And many more would not name it. An essentially Occult 'practice', methinks. And needless to say, therefore: irrelevant, at best

I agree that some people never experience great surges of kundalini (which is just another name for energy) or unexpected mysterious pains in the body, emotional upheavel, or insomnia, or illness during their individual processes of transformation. My intuition is that the level of insight and maturity of these people is nowhere near as deep as the ones who allow awakening into their bodies. And that's perfectly fine, ultimately everyone is doing what they need to be doing at the moment, and is doing it at perfect timing. To me the ones who do face this dark stuff within themselves,however, are the ones who come to know the poverty and joy of surrender. It's like God robbs them of judgement, stingyness and smallness. To put it simply,they are the ones I trust.
@tim13354
@tim13354 9 лет назад
Inês Cruz Trust who you like, Inez. And yes, everyone is indeed doing what they need to be doing at the moment including Hitler and Ghengis Kahn. But if the Kundalini energy is understood in the fables to lie at the base of the spine and leave the body at death: my understanding would be that: Realization is the 'realizing of something about 'Life'. People to whom that happens fondly imagine that they have 'died'. They haven't, of course, but there will no doubt be a certain release from contraction. That may, or may not, be painful, or bring about other effects 'to a body that, by definition, is not used to it (might even kill them!). But it's tangential and irrelevant in the sense we are talking. Needless to say, trying to awaken 'kundalini' in the hopes of thereby 'becoming enlightened' is what is known as 'Spirutual Crap'...There's a lot of it about.
