She had polyps on her vocal cords. After the surgery she had to stay quiet for 6 weeks and in frustration she screamed and damaged her voice but for the better.

something was wrong with the mic or the recording has deteriorated, everytime she sings "S" or "T" and the plosive consonants - there is a terrible hiss.
