Bonsai Druid Ep 16... Primary Branch Development on Ficus microcarpa 'Green Isle" 

I think this Ficus microcarpa 'Green Isle' is my favorite type of tree to work with. It's been pretty forgiving about being indoors in the winters we have, and I can bring the leaf size down quite a bit. In fact, these are the biggest leaves its ever grown!

@@BonsaiDruid-qo9lo I always give mine a chance. One never knows and then they surprise you. Just like my Hibiscus. No growth all winter. Looked completely dead. I cut it back to some color on the trunk, about 2 -3 inches from the bottom and now it is leafing out on the trunk the latter part of this June. You were good to give it a chance.
