This was excellent. Sent to me by my good dear Catholic friend who said after listening, that we are more alike and believe in similar things than she thought. I absolutely appreciate the Dr’s calling to learn Arabic and devote himself to Islam despite being a Christian. In the end, the knowing more about each other through experience and dialogue is the best teacher. Mashallah to you all and blessings to continue doing such good work. We are all God’s people.

It is a lack of charity to not evangelize Muslims as there is NO SALVATION without Christ. Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus. Every soul who refuses to enter into the one true Church is lost. This is DOGMA.

Prayers for generations past, present, and future!

I like this project, I am a muslim who grew up in a secular turkish family (with religious grandmothers) and my best friend is christian. The common faith in those traditions (in the essence) is huge. I read the Bible. (Not the complete old testament yet) Very surprisingly, I found out that many sayings/idioms in our language are from Bible. :-) It is for me also schocking, that many Christians do not believe in the spiritual world, which is actually in detail described in the Bible. If you take it out, what is the meaning of religion? Jesus is for us very very very holy, as well as the mother Maria. Noone would call Jesus, by his name, they would add Hz in the front of his name, to mean with respect “very holy Jesus”. About spirits, diseases and exorcism: The old women, in villages, can also heal some diseases by prayers (it is a light form of exorcism) those old women are the ones who live very carefully, not getting involved in any kind of sin. (My grandmom refused to keep any money for instance, for her entire life) But exorcism topic needs to be a little avoided nowadays, there are many charlatans in muslim societies. It is a sophisticated topic, and the best remedy against satanic disturbance is anyhow prayers, and righteous living. In Quran, it writes, the closest people to Muhammed and his people were the Christians, because there are priests who live in humbleness with true faith. (In Maide I guess) The cursed people in Quran are the pagans, who warship idols, satan, for short term gain. They are the enemies of the faithful people. I think over the centuries in both religions, forms and rituals developed, and the people got stuck in those shells, rather than the essence. And the religious literacy is very low in both societies, people don’t even read their own book but talk with assumptions (which indeed is a sin). Anyway, the salvation in Islam is through: - Do not worship or ask for help to any other god or idol, other than the Holy most merciful creator of everything. - Be a righteous person (same like the christian commandmends, no adultery, greed, lies, betrayal, killing… and any kind of excess behavior forbidden) - Cleanse your nefs (self) from hatred, greed, envy… accept god’s will. - Share with others, actively get involved in charity for god’s name (beware, this should not add up to your vanity, therefore secret charity is better) - Pray, fast, zekat (distributing a percentage of your income to others) - If you sin and regret; repent sincerely from the heart, the most merciful God is very forgiving. I guess those are not against Christianity. I wonder why people are seeking conflicts and seeking shortcoming of others to blame, before putting their own house in order and becoming the righteous person themselves. :-) (I say this for the ignorant people in both groups) Lots of love and prayers to all the Christians and Muslims, who spread love, mercy and bliss of the most loving God in this world. Prayers to everyone, so that we find the truth that unites us on the righteous path of love. PS. I also like the Sufi literature (Yunus Emre, Ferididdun Attar and many others, if you are interested) My favourite figure in Christianity is Saint Francis of Assissi… ❤️ Further recommendations for reading is welcomed.

There is only One God...He Who Is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Divine Revelation ended with Saint John, the "beloved disciple" of Jesus. Therefore the idea that Mohammed was visited by one of the Archangels and the Koran, a "new Revelation" was given to him is a Lie. It is merely a writing that came from Mohammed's own personal knowledge of the Hebrew Scriptures and the Catholic New Testament, and changed to suit his own personal opinions and private interpretations and notions. Its Blasphemous and diabolical....as far as i am concerned....and Must Not be taken seriously, even for the purpose of open dialogue or for the sake of "inclusivity" and "respect".

For me personally there is only one True God who is God The Father, God The Son who is Jesus Christ aka Iesu / Yeshua, and The Holy Spirit. One True God and One True Church.

12:05 When looking at the account in Genesis a while ago I came to the conclusion that it is possible that there was only one tree mentioned in the Garden of Eden. I had not come across the islamic belief, so that is interesting. I think it was only talking about one tree and that it was merely referred to in two different ways. Maybe it is a translation issue, or a question of how to interpret the language.

I've been a huge supporter of the series. Trying to get people to listen to it. But this episode however, has been extremely disappointing and dare I say misleading. The episode isn't being truthful. It's seems like a desperate attempt to appease a community. It's very disturbing, as many views are extremely controversial and being fed as objectively good, when indeed it's evil. Alot of converts and religious experts have touched on these topics. So my advice to listeners is .. Take this episode with a grain of salt. And research. I'm very upset that this episode is so misleading to Christians and to those Muslims trying to find Christ. Honestly the only episode so far, that i couldn't wait for it to end. This was more a disservice to Muslims and also to Christians.

Importance of having peaceful relations of all faiths is to convert. There is a role of muslims to, when an area has a majority, to subvert the Chrisitians in that area. This is not peaceful. Jesus is the way to our Father. I cry out with joy when I hear a man or woman rebuke Islam and find Him. If anyone is interested, read the last verses Muhammad wrote. It is eye opening.

IMHO if you really want to understand the full spectrum of behavior associated with ANY religion you need to have an advanced degree in psychology with at least 10 years of clinical experience. Academic and reality don't always cross paths.

Allow me to correct, few issues: There is no confusion regarding who "iblis" is. He is the first Djinn, a beings created from smokeless fire (energy etc), who reached the ranks of angles due to his piety. He had disease in his heart. Shaytan (English Satan) is a term that denotes malevolence, a human can be Shaytan, and you can see that Quran uses it like this as well 6:112. Yes, there is heirarchies of Djinn, and Shayateen, and Iblis being ta the top of it. He asked for respite till the day of judgement so he will remain alive this that time. There is no good Djinn on your shoulder. There is an angle that incites you to do good, and their is Djinn (called qareen) that incites you to do evil. Good Djinn is not something that you interact with. Djinn were created before Humans, and they rebelled against God. It was angle Gabriel and along with other angles and Iblis who quelled this rebellion.

Sahih al-Bukhari Book 73 Hadith 224 - Allah's Apostle said, "The most awful name in Allah's sight on the Day of Resurrection, will be (that of) a man calling himself Malik Al-Amlak (the king of kings)." ✝️Revelation 19:16 - On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords.✝️

-Who Was the Spirit that squeezed Muhammad in the cave? Was the spirit really angel Gabriel? -Had the spirit been Gabriel, he would have calmed Muhammad and relieved his fear. But the spirit left him in extreme distress. The angel Gabriel appeared to many people before his alleged visit to Muhammad and each time the first thing he did was to allay that person's fear. 1. When Gabriel appeared to Daniel, he was afraid, but Gabriel touched him. Gabriel did not squeeze him or cause him pain, Gabriel only touched him (Daniel 8:16-18). 2. The angel Gabriel also appeared to Zachariah’s father of John the Baptist who is called Yahya in the Qur'an he identified himself and said to Zachariah: Do not be afraid, Zacharia ...... I am angel Gabriel that stand in the presence of God (Luke 1:13-19) 3. Gabriel appeared to Mary, mother of our Lord Jesus. Mary was scared but Gabriel said to her: Do not be afraid, Mary (Luke 1:30) -Had the spirit been Gabriel, he would not have contradicted his former revelations. Six hundred (600) years before the birth of Muhammad, the real angel Gabriel said to Mary that she would bear a child who will be the Son of God: The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So, the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God (Luke 1:35). But the spirit which appeared to Muhammad told him Jesus was not the son of God: ... The Christians call Christ the son of Allah .... Allah's curse be on them (Sura 9:30). If the spirit that appeared to Muhammad were the angel Gabriel, he would not have said, Jesus was not the son of God. -We learn from Islamic tradition that on several occasions when Muhammad saw the spirit, he would be so frightened he would run home to his wife and ask her to cover him with clothes: "I was called again and raised my head, and there on the Throne in the open atmosphere he, i.e., Gabriel (peace be upon him) was sitting. I began to tremble on account of fear. I came to Khadija and said: Wrap me up. They wrapped me up and threw water on me..." (Sahih Muslim book 1 ch.74 no.307 p.100. Narrated by Jabir) -At other times, Muhammad experienced some strange physical symptoms. From Hadith Mishkat, we learn that, sometimes he would shrive and swoon, roar like a camel and white foamy saliva would come from his mouth (Hadith Mishkat iv p.359). Sometimes when he receives revelation(s) there was the sound like the buzzing of bees near his face (source: Umar Ibnu'l Khattab), while at other times, he felt a tremendous headache. -Muhammad once said: "At times it comes to me like the ringing of a bell and that is most severe for me... and at time an Angel in the form of a human being comes to me... (Sahih Muslim vol.4 book 28 no.5765-5767 p.1248) However, it is unclear why Mohammed later said, "...The bell is the musical instrument of Satan." Sahih Muslim vol.3 book 22 no.5279, also Abu Dawud vol.2 no.2548 -2550 -According to Ahmad b. Hanbal, "He became distressed, foaming at the mouth and closing his eyes. At times he snorted like a young camel (Ahmad b. Hanbal I, 34, 464, vi.163). This gave rise to the allegation in certain quarters Muhammad was epileptic. -Prophet Muhammad according to 'Amr Ibn Sharhabil, mentioned to his wife, Khadija, that he feared he was possessed by demons and wondered whether others consider him possessed [i.e., evil spirits] (source: pfanoter 1910:345).
