She has a lovely presence and this interview is wonderfully natural... perfect for conversations with Brian because that is both who he is and how he presents himself on his RU-vid channel. He is definitely my favorite van proponent. He is a mensch.
I met with Brian a couple years ago here in Prescott, Arizona. We had lunch and a great talk! I sent him off with one or two of our axes! He’s really a squared away and nice guy! Lady you’ve interviewed people before! You’re good at it!
The whole nomadic lifestyle, BobWells, other nomads have opened my eyes. I can either live in an apartment and barely make it or become a nomad and explore this beautiful land. But not both.
Thanks! I went to the RTR in Quartzite in 2017 just so I could meet him. It was great to meet up with him again last year. I love watching his channel and glad he has someone else in his life now.
This is so cool. I was actually right across the road during this interview. I briefly visited with her husband while she was interviewing. Wish I could have met you Brian. Great interview
I would think since the crash of 2008 when people started losing their homes or jobs and retirement, this is option. Plus wages in the USA aren't keeping up with inflations and medical bills. The cost of living is so high for everyone. Then aren't you supposed to enjoy life or are you supposed to be stressed out all the time trying to afford a house. Anyone out there voting for Bernie Sanders for president he wants to make health care for everyone? Introverted isn't bad we all can't be the same life has all kinds of art and beauty. Brain is a good guy! Good interview Brian is usually doing them and you don't get to see him much! Happy Camping!
A great video and one that most will find very informative and just great quality. Question, what kind of chairs are those you are sitting in??? They look very comfortable, and very stable. Please share a link for them, so those of us who are interested can find them and maybe, if they are within our price range, can buy them. Thanks for the info, and the great video.
They were the only chairs that would fit in our small van "garage". Here is the link: www.amazon.com/dp/B07N71DDXW/?tag=aiponsite-20&linkCode=ic5&ascsubtag=amzn1.idea.36RM0AYGBMYR2&creativeASIN=B07N71DDXW&ref=exp_fromshetome_dp_vv_d
I love following you, loved the interview. We bought a Pleasant Way Ascent in November to travel in from May-Oct. We live in a RV Resort in Fort Myers Nov-Mar which this is our first year. But we went from a 18ft travel trailer to a 45 ft and can’t go back to the National Parks and State Parks that we love to go to. I hope I will be a good miminalist☺️ Learning a lot from you. LOVE your pants! What are the brand?
And, how much is it in general?????, here in The Netherlands I pay 148 Euro per month., and im happy I have it, in 2005 till 2007 several surgery s on Intestines and Liver, and Chemo s a lot to save my life from Cancer,., from 2007 till 2012 I went for check ups and the Cancer dit not came back., till the day of today I survive. , not easy but still work for about 20 hours per week.
@@moodyfan4ever so sorry to hear of your dilemma. Glad to hear it's somewhat under control. Will definitely say a prayer for you. Healthcare in 🇺🇸 is ridiculous but a necessary evil.
Hi Albertus, it is imposable to know how much, we may a few thousand each year in monthly fees and co pays... many thousands of people go bankrupt every year in the USA... In Canada no one goes bankrupt, I am the very few who are lucky to have health insurance and not go broke... My dear wife knows how to navigate or find her way through the system making sure we don't get wiped out of our savings... If she died, I would go back to Canada for most the year as I am terrified of the USA system....
This channel may not be about healthcare but the question was asked to adventure van man and my heated rants yesterday below were not off a bit according to yesterday's comments by Federal Reserve Chairman Powell who said we spend more on healthcare and get nothing in return... His comments are easily found on any phone.... Thank you for the videos and the opportunity to speak on the care for others...
I wish you would have asked a few more questions regarding Brian not having health insurance. Follow up questions such as, “How has that been for you?” What does it cost you if you get sick?” What is your experience not having insurance?” Do you go to clinics?” Do you have a primary care physician.” Do you get yearly physicals “. how much money have you spent over the years for medical expenses?” “Have you been to doctors in Mexico?” “Where do you get your prescriptions?” These are all questions that We are wondering about.
Great questions; I was a bit reluctant to get too personal, especially since we hadn’t discussed what I was going to ask. . I know that insurance is part of the RTR training if you ever go to the event. You might comment on his channel and see if he would do a video answering your questions.
@@FromShetoMe Great answer! You are a very accomplished interviewer. You should do more of these interviews. We learn a lot, and for you the interview must be easier to edit and post. Keep up the good work!
I payed 100$ cash for sting Ray infection treatment with antibiotics, walk in clinic. 200 for skin check with up to 10 spots frozen. The insurance and deductable puts you in bankruptcy.
Re Healthcare Comments: Food For Thought. Insurance has to cover the cost of healthcare. ACA(Obamacare) set limits on Insurance Co profits but it is the out of control healthcare costs in America that drive the Insurance rates. Not trying to get political just wanted to point this out because it seems more frustration is heaped upon the insurance companies when they are not the root cause of Expensive Healthcare.
This country is ridiculous with healthcare. I had a neighbor lose his house from cancer bills. I don’t think we are political enough about it. Everyone should have health coverage and yes we can pay for it. Look at farm subsidies and corporations not paying taxes. Enough we need change!
@@elizabethlibero1878 I'm with ya 100 percent. My mom died because she couldn't afford insurance because of a preexisting condition. I just try and be mindful of other peoples youtube channels and what not.
Great interview and I also follow Brian. You might want to work on your microphone positioning. Brian came in very clearly but your voice seemed to fade with your head movements. Just a thought!
Thanks. I knew it was going to be a problem as soon as we started. He was much louder than I anticipated so I had to lower the volume in editing to keep him from peaking. Audio has been my biggest challenge.
