The meaning by let it be is a big one i learned from my mother if u cant change something right then n there dont stress or try to fix it knowing u cant right then n there u let it be ride the emotions good or bad n then deal with it when u can, let it be.

living in the DC area makes us have to take it a step further - treat others as you would like to be treated and also make sure they are respecting your boundaries. Narcissists like to be treated great but treat others like garbage when they don't get their way, which can be emotionally draining and leads to burnouts. It is best to walk away when being treated poorly than compromise your integrity while being in a losing battle.

I agree with Lala, but it’s also circumstantial. For me it depends on Personal/intimate interactions with people vs larger group interactions, and this is based on my personal current experience. I’ve been very quiet with most friends, family, my fb and IG posts with what Im dealing with. There is zero confidence. Just trying to avoid it all
I really do like your podcast Lala I watch on my way to work at home I really like how u don’t care about what people say. In u don’t drag people that’s working 9am 3 clock or whatever it is. Some podcasts do so thanks for always being you
I always say to my kids “ it’s none of your business what other people think about you!” Sounds harsh but when they start to worry about it, it calms them down!

Biggest advice I got, but not until it was too late. Wish I would’ve heard way sooner in life, but now trying to pass it on to my young adult kids. “Take care of yourself first”. I think too many girls(mostly) start thinking of marriage, etc right away. But if they would just work on establishing their life first before jumping into a long term relationship. Like finish school first, start your career, live by yourself first, etc
What is so funny is that you think I'm privileged! It's a mindset I have to repeat to myself everyday. From being abused to fighting cancer. This is My mantra I wanted to share. @@blondies2755 I am always disappointed when women side with the cheater. Kristen doute herself said she and Tom were cheating on each other and is now GOOD FRIENDS with Ariana so you're just making excuses to side with the man. I think that says more about you than Ariana.

Yeah! I mean. That's what the world needs forsure. More assholes lol. We need more interrupting of people mid sentence and telling them we dont care about what they have to say. Especially to our moms, who raise our kids. 😊
