Bobby Boodles is a gin I love and of course, because I love a huge Gin Juniper punch!! The pink Boodles is so lovely and magnificent. I love it and I am so glad you loved it so much!! It seems to be a fave or many people for a pink gin!! In Canada both are about $27.00 and that's a fabulous price. If I had to choose between Beefeater and Boodles (just for the fun of comparing!!) - because both are Juniper forward - I would absolutely choose the Beefeater - I am so taken with how amazing this gin works in a martini or pretty much any cocktail!! But on it's own, without making lots of comparisons I can say I do really like Boodles with some lime and tonic or soda or in cocktails and hey, I'd absolutely use Boodles Gin in a Martini - very dry!! Cheers!! 🙂

I have a bottle of this at home, and it’s only 35% abv. I guess they figure they have to water it down before shipping it to us yanks? Great review as always!

You Yanks are watering down Buffalo Trace to 80 Proof before shipping it to us here in Europe... it's tit for tat. ;-)

The shirt does goes well with the rhubarb color. Sounds like a interesting flavor with the tartness, will have a search for this in Oz. Cheers.

Fairly new to the Gin world. Started collection recently. Got 7 sealed bottles so far. I'm from South Africa so a few are locals. Should try HKG gin from Hong Kong if you can get it. I loved it

hi Bobby, I always enjoyed looking at you, also to get to know more good gins. Unfortunately, every new one you test is now the best and even better than the one before. I am missing the right comparisons between the individual gins. Otherwise i can wait until the year is over and then just buy the last one you test, that will be the best 🤷‍♂️ best regards Michael

Hey Bobby, have you ever though about ranking the gins you try on a scale of 1-10 or 1-100? Maybe made different category rankings and an overall ranking? I think it would be cool to gauge and see where you put certain gins compared to others

I'd never considered myself a traditionalist, but put any colored gin in front of me and I recoil. Load rhubarb and strawberry in it, and I withdraw in horror. Citrus, yes, but for sweet fruits, I'll have a daiquiri, a rum drink for that, not a gin. Probably my loss, but there it is. Cheers!
