That's an awesome looking van! I love the styling and the painted mural on the side. She's been neglected over the decades but there's a shining jewel under there ,it's just going to take time and money to make her shine again.
This is the first video I've seen,I have one piece of advice, replace the fuel tank with a new plastic type with a shield or reline the original,it will save you down the road and add a extra fuel filter
Very Cool 70's van you 😎 👍 have there.. Try to get her running in good shape.. Also, do what you can to help save the condition she's in down the road.. I would also try and find a good mechanic to work on that Six-pack Carb unit you have.. Those parts jus don't come around the wreck yards anymore..
Very nice B Van, my friend. 78 is the transition year so the dash, wiring (including schematics) are different from 71-77 models. Hope you can get an 8 3/4 or Dana 60 since you plan to put that 440 to use. Van On Brother....
Be really careful with the spoiler? How about your head? Please don't go under another vehicle without stands. Who's going to save these magnificent machines if you're not around? Many years ago my Dad bought a surplus Dodge Polara with the 440 Magnum engine that was a North Carolina highway patrol interceptor. Starting your van reminded me of it and all the old Dodge/Plymouth engines that the starters made the same sound. Looking forward to seeing your progress - and NEVER seeing you under a lifted vehicle without stands again! Seeing that could give an old guy like me a heart attack...
Sadly I haven’t been able to try starting it on a cold day as I have been busy with school. But rest assured that when I do I will try my best to mention it in a video!
