Interviewer: "How do you feel about your financial situation?" Boogie: "It was 2015, the rain was pouring down outside my window. My mental was state was dark and I was depressed. As I was eating my meat & cheese burrito I tried to commit soy-a-side."
"When I was 20 years old, I couldn't function in the world." Yeah, Boogie. But that's still true NOW. So you can't possibly support this girlfriend of yours.
And my mother's brother's Uncle's sister was abusing me by making me eat vegetables & small home cooked meals! The trauma stays with me, so even now I can barely talk about it. I've been a professional victim most of my life & have an applied degree in Victimology. 😅😅😅😅
He said that he tried to "find something" to nail Boogie with, and could only find food. And it's like, yeah dude. It's like if I buy a $50 video game every day and say "all he could find was my spending $1k on video games a month". And he calls HIM unreasonable. He's delusional and on narcissistic crack.
Boogie went on stream calling Caleb a "dumbass" and saying he's "unreasonable" for telling him his food spending was a problem. 50 year old 500 pound man spending $30-100 on food a day calls someone unreasonable for critcizing him. Unreal.
^Whenever I see Wings and Boogie justify their gluttony and realise its equally as damaging financially, mentally and physically as maintaining a substance addiction. DSP is like the least drugged up crackhead i've ever witnessed in my life. I've had substance addictions since early teens, and still have more self-respect, dignity and drive then these fellers. Phil could sustain a pretty epic cocaine addiction w his income, Wings likes to stick his nose up towards drug addicts but these guys are like the basic bitches of addiction.
The man literally has an eating disorder though…he is obviously going to justify an addiction. Why is it different if someone justifies a drug? It’s the same thing. Plus, just saying I watched the audit, it wasn’t as bad as I thought. His finances are save able, and it’s 30 dollars a day and often for multiple people not just himself. Don’t just go cherry picking certain things from the audit to fit your point. I think if people left the guy alone and just didn’t watch him if they are bothered by him, he would get a lot better.
@@himynameischrisAVA my point was more about how these fellas look down on others' with almost identical struggles.. while being the most monotone color an addiction can possibly be. Because of my lifelong habits, I've always been pretty harsh on my self-view. There's plenty of places addictions are just completely ignored while "hiding in plain sight" -- gaming and technology are two great ones. Binge / Stress eating is another one. Boogie is the least antagonizing cow in the flock but they are all the same cut. When you see DSP using his magic words to "garner support" for his "small business" OR Boogie trying to say that he needs to eat or whatever.. They are lolcows cause they point in one direction while running the other. They are never to blame and have zero fault. Maybe Sigmeund Freud was born in the wrong era; he would have the biggest boner over these fellas streams.
Boogie explaining, “well I’m making the minimum payment on my credit card” made me literally go pay off all my cards. It’s crazy how a 50 year old has no financial knowledge.
Bro u can’t blame him he’s a victim. His parents never taught him about money so it was impossible for him to have common sense or learn about money in his 50 years of existence 😂😂😂
@@drewscrivers5888not really. My parents have had their house for 25 years without any credit cards, I'm in a house with my partner and no credit cards.
Boogie is such an unreliable narrator and displaces rightful blame on anyone but himself. I can’t believe that he stills has supporters. Just let him quietly (or not) fade into obscurity.
I 100% believe he has a ton of money and is lying about his financial dire for attention for their new podcast. I mean his only proof was "trust me bro" while showing us ONE of his bank accs. Most adults have multiple banking accs.
@@DevilishlybenevolentAccording to the doc he should've been out of money in August but instead he's taken another two people under his roof who he pays for. ISTG he is just desperate for money so he can for his new gf and roommate to be live-in slaves
Boogie had the balls to bad mouth Caleb on the podcast. Dude offered to help him figure his shitty finances out, and boogie just dismisses it and calls Caleb a dumbass who’s unfair
You're right, he's lying about it and probably has hundreds of thousands in a bank. He's just content farming for the podcast, getting into drama = more viewers/attention = money. Its just on a larger scale with keem. The whole keem pretending to be mad that he and muda got into it, him on his knees and leaking the convo/video, its all just WWE fake storylines, yet people think this is real LOL
I **knew** Boogie was eating nothing but fast food. There's no way a 400 pound man is gaining weight on home cooking alone. if nothing else, kudos to Caleb for managing to get us the (literal) receipts on that.
@@SeethinSteven one of the dumbest defenses ive seen of boogie yet "oh hes not 400lbs hes ackshually 350" hes morbidly obese, gaining weight. hes CLEARLY eating fast food and never cooking, even if he did cook it would be gigantic portions and unhealthy foods
@@Rootiga My god, there is no way he's under 400lbs. He uploaded a video 2 years ago after he allegedly reached 400lbs and has claimed ever since that he's either 399lbs or 401lbs. If you look at him in videos like Caleb's and the 2nd half of the Clum documentary, he's very clearly much larger than he was 2 years ago. I'd say he's 450lbs+ and gaining.
@@SeethinSteven Yeah I was a Sam and Tolki enjoyer. Of course this gelatinous cretin claimed he had nothing to do with it, but then Wings let it slip that Boogie came to him looking for advice on how to ban subreddits.
I don't trust anything boogie says. Who knows how much money he made or loss really. And it's obvious hes trying to make himself a lolcow for relevancy.
I never had a credit card before and when I got married I realized I needed one for credit because I had no credit and I couldn’t buy anything. My father in law told me “Never buy anything with it, that you couldn’t buy without it, and don’t consider that money free to spend. That money is already spent paying off your credit card. At the end of the month you should fully pay it off. If you buy more than you can afford and spend the money in your bank account so you can’t pay it off, you’re just wasting money.” Best advice I ever got.
I mean you gotta be reasonable with it but if you're trying to grow credit at a decent rate that works against you. Researching this a couple months back, trying to build my credit so I'm prepped for any potential issues down the road, I think the magic number was staying around 25% of your credit utilized. Which isn't too big a deal provided you're working and making money consistently. These companies want to make money, paying off a card every month only actually works against you to an extent.
@@Unquestionable I got my first credit card after my business started booming. I would max it out every week but immediately pay it off plus 10% about 3-4 times a month. Credit skyrocketed
As a former 20 y/o girl, I can barely look at this guy’s face after the godforsaken meta pc commercial he did 😭 also I hold dez 2.0 partially responsible for enabling this cacophony of cringe
holding the girl responsible for enabling boogie's behavior is a bit harsh, imo. the girl clearly has a whole set of issues herself, and im sure boogie's manipulative personality just fuels her mental spiral downwards. no normal, healthy person is going to be with someone like BOOGIE (gag) for 2 months and say the shit she's said about him.
Fun Fact: the human brain is not fully developed until around the age of 22. Critical thinking and long term planning are some of the last things to fully develop, and trauma can physiologically change how the brain develops (some parts of the brain smaller or larger or more/less active then compared to a typical adult brain.) Desi is too young and too traumatized to be held responsible for a 50 year old man's actions. Boogie is also clearly an experienced manipulator and I doubt Desi saw the worst of him before they got married...just like Boogie's ex.
I refused to watch this video in full version after Boogie started providing a false narrative when asked a question about his financial decisions when Caleb gave any personal opinion brought up showing how sensitive he is
I believe his spending is accurate, but his constant storytelling tells me that he doesn't believe what he's saying, but he hopes someone else will. Simple questions have simple answers.
I'm not as big a critic of Boogie as most people but man he only makes himself look absolutely terrible here. Talking about his girlfriend made him sound like a terrible predator, like absolutely no self awareness.
@@LotaetoChip how is that sicko? Women on average date older men and men date younger. Biology does not triumph the propaganda that tells you it's bad when an older man dates a younger girl. The only problem is that she is dating boogie instead of a financially and mentally stable person.
Thing is, a lot of people who make very little money manage to put enough to the side for their retirement. Boogie didn't get screwed by crypto. He lost essentially zero. It's an excuse as usual. He lost money because he spends on nonsense, nonstop. I mean, 200k on hookers is a pretty bad start.
It is though. It could all comd crashing down if your new videos stop doing as well. Then what. What skills in the real world does a youtuber have that can be applied. $2200 a month on a mortgage for a childless man in Arkansas is INSANE. He could never afford that house & he needs to downsize to a more reasonable area ASAP.
$2200/month is more than my mortgage in the west coast xD. I got into that market in a good time, but how can you justify 2.2k/month in a confederate state?
Boogie keeps throwing Mike under the bus saying “he admitted the numbers were fudged”, but I haven’t heard him say that anywhere, and of course Boogie never has receipts for the checks his mouth is cashing.
Mike was on some ordinary podcast and he did say something to the effect of the numbers being rounded up. But that’s probably because of boogie, and it’s strange boogie is making it seem like Mike made a mistake or something.
@@Thatonegirl989 I heard that pod as well, except Mike seemed to imply it was just rounded up, not 200k that was really only 40lk, or those medical expenses being totally made up. Boogie is straight up saying that’s all on Mike.
@mywifesboyfriend5558 little daily pleasures like that are kind of..the whole point of life, to me. I enjoy getting my coffee. Made at home or otherwise. I'd save money on not doing it, yeah, but you can say that about everything else that makes me happy too. And most of those don't cost much at all.
"I can't cook for three people for cheaper than $12" At my local grocery store, I can purchase: 3x Chicken Leg Quarters - $3 2x Yellow Squash - $3 (at most) 3x Small Russet Potatoes - $4 (at most) That's about $10 for three servings. And I live in Massachusetts where the cost of living is likely _higher_ than Arkansas.
The guy spent 200k on hookers, and "had" to buy multiple 70+$ video games while he was struggling to pay his mortgage, only to then never play most of them. Don't expect him be good with numbers.
Boogie has promised so many self improvement campaigns but has never finished even just one. Ok maybe grooming a vulnerable young girl could be counted as Boogie's self improvement.👧👧👧
That’s seriously nothing compared to dsp, he’s door dashing 2-3 times a day every day and spending $400 a month on booze and spending $4k a month on mobile games
Yeah but what needs to be acknowledged is how Boogie has claimed for years to be eating healthy, never buying fast food and always cooking at home. Boogie had gastric bypass surgery which he claimed meant he couldn't eat as much and couldn't drink soda. What also gets glossed over is the "200K" he spent on escorts. I can guarantee that he blew more than that because he often met these women when he went on holidays. He's had at least 6 or 7 of them living with him too.

This is what people aren't getting. He cries about how he was poor and his parents didn't care about him, yet he, who has never worked in his life and obviously is not smart enough for a scholarship, was able to attend college and have a place to live while maintaining 500 pounds all at the same time. @aspirindamage5152 people don't know what poverty is. My friend's father is a dentist, and he said he grew up poor and only went to Europe once as a kid. I grew up in a two bedroom single wide trailer with six siblings and a single mom. We would go to local church for donations of random cans of corn and beans until my mom's payday. I remember getting a job at Walmart, and when I got my first paycheck, I went to a Chinese buffet for the first time in my life at 18 years old. I'm not blaming my childhood, I'm not obese, but I have a bad relationship with food still because I spent the first 18 years of my life food insecure. I didn't finish high school until I was 22 (did it online while working). I took out student loans to go to college. Just paid the loans off this year at the age of 35. I don't own a home. My mom is still broke and still asks for money. I'm middle-class myself now, and the legacy of my poor childhood is still there. Nobody in my family owns property. All of my siblings are still broke. Poverty is a cycle.
Ok so... I'm no mathematical genius... but he spends just under a THOUSAND dollars on fast food a month? Like not including regular food? Even taking into account the exchange rate from NZD - USD on food TOTAL including takeout i spend $450 TOTAL for 3 people. 😮 My man eats enough for my whole damn family. And if you ask well... "It was 1969... in the trenches of a mental battlefield... dark thouggts wizzed past..." 😂😂😂
If your 'friend' online is giving you financial advice and you go all in; you get what you deserve. Usually those people are one of the rug pullers or are getting a very nice commission on what you dump in. The financial 'game' of high risk/high reward is essentially gambling and you should never bet what you cannot lose.
I made a wokful of chicken breast and pasta and it lasted me 4 days, eating multiple servings a day. The ingredients combined cost me about £10. Some people are just lazy
OH FUCK, I did not think this man was gonna try to defend his 20year old wife? by saying he's being who he needed 30 years ago. Is his internal justification that she has similar issues to me and im "helping" and im taking a little off the top for my service. Plus when he dies hopefully she'll get a half paid off house?
Im sorry but having a bad upbring isn't an excuse. You can literally learn anything now, and for someone that was making about 100K easy and then sponsorships should be hiring a finanical planner to secure your current life style and retirement.
Animal shelter worker here; I personally don’t care about people going to RECORDABLE breeders but they usually don’t charge that insane amount for their purebreds with great lines. Anything above ~$1200 is a red flag. Boogie didn’t try and just dropped a shit load of cash for a dog from a mill farm, because that’s where those puppies in those stores come from, regardless of what the employees say. Sometimes going to a shelter doesn’t suit everyone because some of our dogs need more training than the average Joe can do and that’s okay. I doubt Boogie could do much so I could definitely see him going to a breeder but that’s not what he did.
In the early 2000s my mom went to a breeder and got our purebred female Maltese for 800 and I thought that was a lot! She lived to be 13 and was an amazing pet and worth the money she wasn't aggressive at all didn't shed or chew shoes or anything, but my mom got very lazy after several years and just didn't take her to the vet at all after she became an adult so the dog went like 10 years without going to the vet so she passed away from cancer that she was probably struggling with for years. I'm still mad at my mom for not taking her to the vet and claimed it was a money thing but she kept spending a fuck ton of money on Lush products, expensive home decorations and brand name makeup for herself and my sister. Boogie reminds me a lot of my mom but he's probably worse
I love your comment. I've always had Pugs but my dear little girl died in 2021 & I thought it was time to get another but here in Australia they are about $4K & I couldn't afford it at the time (not a puppy mill). Eventually my neighbour told me about a little street dog in Alice Springs & he got his nephew to take him in & see what he was like. He had him desexed & vaccinated (Aboriginal vet clinic does it for free). Anyway I've had him for nearly 2yrs now & he's the dearest, most loving little chap - ever. Even the shelters here charge $500+ for dogs, but apparently now there's many more available now due to people getting a puppy during the lockdown, but now can't keep them. Best wishes & happy Christmas from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤❤
@@jenniferdaulby5519 Oh it’s been a lot ever since Covid. We’re constantly full. Our fees start at $160 for dogs and varies based on if we know breeds with DNA testing. If they’re still there after 30 days, we cover the adoption cost and they’re free. Same with cats, whose fees are only $60. But I personally dont have a problem with people going to a breeder as long as they do their research on what breed they want and who they’re getting it from.
@@thesaddestpikachu The vet I shadow with breeds Great Pyrenees and she only charges like $500 per pup. So it really just depends. A lot of good breeders tend to break even/make no money from the animals they sell since a lot of money goes into genetic testing and proving healthy lines (which is mega expensive). But if you get a good one, you tend to have an incredibly healthy pet. Glad you had a lot of good times with her 😊
i watched it in its entirety but everything Caleb said just went in Boogies ear and out the other. assuming he gave Caleb mostly all his debt and expenses i dont see why Boogie cant just sell off his MTG cards, games, and 30k in Etherium. He just wants to keep being a man child and wants to die in debt. He always forgets that you can always rebuild a collection or something AFTER the debt is taken care of and some amount of savings is obtained.
He's such a liar. He doesn't just lie to us, which is one thing, but he's lying to himself. And he can't stop it, either. At some point he's really going to end up being completely destitute and homeless, and he'll only have himself to blame.
Okay so here’s my theory: Boogie is unable to recognize how gross he appears because he’s never actually seen his reflection in a mirror as he is actually a natural born vampire. It is not in his nature to even think about how he looks when he says the things he says, because he is supernaturally incapable of reflecting on himself.
That's a good theory but sadly we saw him look into his reflection on the documentary. Unless Mike Clum was just enthralled by boogie's vampire powers to edit it in.

I remember when I was a kid my parents would give me allowance every week, and the first thing I would do is look at what toys or candy I could buy instead of putting it away for later. Boogie is like that, except he's nearly a 50 year old man
The stuff about the dog is terrible. It's obvious he only got the dog because dogs give unconditional love and attention to their owners any chance they get. But the moment he has to return that love and attention, he flakes and wants a new dog that's low energy and low maintenance. It shouldn't surprise me tho, he does the same with the women in his life too.
What sucks for Boogie is the only thing that could help him, he can't really do. Which it's to stop talking. If he's talking, he's lying and manipulating.
Lol I’m subscribed to you and Caleb’s channel. When I saw this thumbnail I thought it was just Caleb and then burst out laughing when you started talking!
I live in AR. My local krogers has pork chop deals 5 for $5 or 10 for $10. Also they have giant bags of Tyson chicken legs for $5 a bag, and the bag last time I got one had 14 legs in it. Yea you can definitely shop for way less it just takes effort and it’s not always what you want. But that’s what being broke is all about.
Yes! I live in South Alabama and our stores run similar deals. Boneless chicken breast packages are 2/$10, so I'll grab 4 and freeze some. I stock up on ground beef the same way. Rice, bags of potatoes, and beans are staples of my pantry. You CAN eat well and save money.
"If I had to steal bread to feed my family, I would be that guy." ... No, Boogie, you wouldn't be that guy. You would be the guy who sends his partner to steal the bread ... and probably some cans of Mountain Dew in this case.
I actually like Caleb the auditor and his channel but oh boy this video I could not watch. Caleb couldn’t get a straight answer before Boogie just gave another excuse
I'm way more forgiving of Boogie than I should be but this look at his terrible money habits and constant excuses make me absolutely despise him. It's sickening to see someone who brings in almost double what I do a month basically shit it all away constantly without a single thought towards anything but the next fast food meal. Like I don't struggle but if I was pulling in what he does/did I would actually try to have something to show for it.
So I have a friend that's a narcissist that has tried this pity party thing on me and when he wants attention money etc he "tries to off himself". Which is usually him calling in and saying he's going to do something to himself. Now I believe most people when they say they are depressed or suicidal but with narcissists I have learned to question it. There never seems to be a real attempt. And with boogie being so woe is me and trying to manipulate people I to feeling sorry for him I am questioning his commitment to the act. I'm not encouraging it. I just hesitate to believe him
15:33 - in the documentary they show his current girlfriend is doing all the housework. He's using her like he did his ex-wife except this time she's too emotionally burnt out and dealing with personal trauma she doesn't know she deserves better.
I grew up pretty poor. I remember having to choose between fixing the heat in my rusty truck or paying bills. So for months i had to keep popping the hood and smacking the blower motor and hoping it would start working every morning til i finally bought one. For me that kinda stuff sticks with you even now I’m extremely careful with money and never buy anything i dont need just encase we need anything for the house
I get so tired of hearing fat people say it’s cheaper to eat out. 1. You ain’t that fat from just buying 1 chicken burger. Stop lying. You know you’re spending $15 PER PERSON. 2. My family took on a keto diet 3 months ago. Keto is considered a more expensive diet, and we feed 4 people on $150 a week in groceries. If you’re spending a ton of money on groceries, you’re buying junk food you done need. Simple as that, and it’s still less expensive than eating out.
When people use "I didn't come from money" as an excuse to their current financial situation, they usually mean they know how to survive having little-to-no money but do not know how to handle finances when there's an excess of wealth. At my old place of employment, we ran apprenticeship classes for construction workers for our apprenticeship program, and we ended up having to add a full day's curriculum on how to manage finances due to it being such a huge issue with our apprentices. They had no problem handling being broke, but would spend every cent they got, which was TERRIBLE since construction work is very much feast-or-famine. They would spend their first good paycheck (the feast) on a new car, apartment, ATV, boat, etc., and by the time the dreaded rainy winter months came along (the famine), they had no savings to get through it. If Boogie had no debt, he'd be fine, just like how our apprentices and millions of Americans would be, and if they were able to understand and articulate this problem, they wouldn't be in it, but they don't, so they are.
As a former food addict, you are spot on with The Whale analogy . That was the hardest part of the movie to watch for me cause I'd been there so many times in the past
I was addicted to food too lol, still am, but I lost 14 kilo in 4 months by changing what I eat. I decided one night that im done eating garbage because I wanna keep myself alive for my significant other❤
I watch both the Carpetbagger and Adam and I can tell you without even watching his Disney vlog, assuming it exists, that it didn't work because he didn't try to make it informative and unique. Jacob and Adam put an incredible amount of research and work into their videos so they have something to say about each place and they have an entertaining presence that's fun to live vicariously through when you see them visit these places. They also know exactly what to film and how to put it together to show an interesting side of every location. Boogie is too lazy to do ANY of that work, he just expected people to watch him because he's big and him in Disneyland would be funny. He really doesn't get it.
Safeway often has deals where you can get 4 packs of chicken for $20. Bag of brown rice is cheap, bags of frozen vegetables are cheap. Problem is he wants, burgers, tacos, shrimp pasta and he doesn’t skip meals. He looks like the type that wakes up and has to eat breakfast. Looks at the clock oh it’s noon, I have to eat lunch, etc. and then snacking between meals. While burning next to nothing to warrant the constant eating. Most people only eat twice a day. He could cook one pack of chicken breast and that could be 2 to 3 days worth of meals.
This is how his chance for redemption for a weight loss journey for him to sell his house rent for a while sell his crap And I promise everyone will watch him
i don't understand why this man refuses to downsize. with the money he still makes he can easily get a comfortable apartment, sell the house, sell all your toys and crap, get rid of the dog you don't even like. make your girlfriend get a job (i don't know for sure if she doesn't got a job but Boogie seems like the type of guy to just pay all her expenses even if he can't afford to do so) so, so, so many ways this man can make his financial situation better over night
I absolutely do not believe he applied for a telemarketing job like he says in this audit video. I'm someone who's disabled and can barely speak on the phone normally because of the speech impediment I have from it and I've worked a job like that. Those telemarketing agencies will hire just about anyone willing to do the work so either A. He didn't apply to the job or B. He self sabotaged himself in the phone interview like he did in the interview in the Mike clum doc.
What frustrates me the most in this video is how he says "I've been applying for jobs! I've already applied for about a dozen and got nothing, so I'm not employable!" Honey. Sweety. Darling. I became unemployed in November and applied for no less than 6 jobs a day EVERY SINGLE DAY. It wasn't easy either. It's now January and I FINALLY got a good paying job that matches my qualifications. Just because you don't get picked up the first time doesn't mean it's not gonna happen.
4:10 The irony of Boogie using his excuse of "I came from poor people and no one told me how to balance a budget", is not only was his influx of money NOT new (he's been living large for 15 years or so, so he's had time to learn how to manage his money, or at least hire someone professionally to manage his money), AND he's 50.... but Caleb himself came from similar circumstances. He came from low income parents who were REALLY bad with money, and thus Caleb himself fell into MASSIVE debt. But he buckled down, sacrificed, got the debts paid off, learned enough about personal finances where he decided to make his YT channel to try and help other people do the same. Boogie is literally sitting across from himself, but who actually took personal responsibility and SACRIFICE.
He wants to leave her better off,, even if that means selling everything he has, yet he was whining about selling Pokémon cards or whatever for $80 on his documentary video. Make it make sense Boogie…
