Cars are normally considered a bad debt. They devalue too quickly. And as for his gf.. I don't get a privileged life at all from her, the opposite. She seems more like underprivileged that comes from a family victimizing themselves, on welfare. Those people tend to come off as entitled, and will make excuses, can't work because I'm sick, I have anxiety, the system is against me, etc. (It will be some very obscure disease that there is no test for. )

I remember once we were on a two week cruise and my husband got paged for work and needed him to provide some support. They paid for internet which was several hundred due to being a cruise. He worked all but 30min and we got free internet the rest of the cruise 😹

I worked 7 days a week in overnight security 12-16 hour shifts and only made 2600 a month. Boogie currently makes not that much less than I do per year for doing less than 1% of the work I do; that's not counting the $86k per year he's made over the life of his RU-vid earnings, which is more than I make. I live in the UK, which as I understand it is more expensive to live in than the US, but I can comfortably afford my house, car, dog, bills, to go out and have fun, to travel (including to the US), and still save money. I have no idea how you can be so irresponsible that you've made that much for that long and still be this fucked now.

Also with inflation a dollar today is worth more than what it would be in the future…so you’re losing out on that as well. So with the 3.5% lost due to inflation and 5% lost on potential risk-free interest earnings you’re essentially paying 8.5% to give the government an interest-free loan…this doesn’t even take into consideration the extra liquidity you’d have available in the meantime; needless to say, this is not ideal.

I'm listing a very simplified budget of just the necessary monthly payments and I'm struggling to break $4,000 a month. Let's say that I manage to break $4,500 a month in all necessary monthly expenses for a home... Where would the other $3,000 a month go? I would be happy with just an additional $1,000 a month. So $4,500 in total expenses plus an additional $1,000 a month to do whatever with would be $5,500 a month. Unless boogie has some insane debt that is not listed with extremely high interest.
